Ever since i started my periods at 12 years of age,i am now 23, i have had crippling pain, nothing has ever helped this pain or even took the edge off it,even tablets prescribed by the doctor.i went on the pill 6 years ago hoping tht would make the pain a little easier to stand, but again, nothing changed,i was still in agony every month.then about a year ago now i came off the pill, and unbelievably the 5 or 6 periods i have had in the last year since coming off the pill (only 5 or 6 as it has obviously took a while for my body to get back to normal) have given me no pain at all,i hardly know im on my period, which is unbelievable to me as i have suffered terrible period pain for so long, can anybody tell me why this may be??? ps-i have not had a baby in this time,as i hear once you have a baby your periods can become less painfull

I was the same exact way! And you know.. I have no warning my period is coming.. there's no pain!

Every so often I'll get an annoying period cramp.. but nothing like back in the day!

Rejoice girl! It doesn't hurt anymore!!! I wouldn't worry about it.. I think it's normal.. Probably hormone imbalance when you were younger!

when you are young your body is getting prepared for child birth so all the cramping and pain usually come from a abundancy of eggs, the older you get the less eggs you will produce . So more than likley you just getting older is the reason for this.... The only good thing about aging......
