I found these pictures of this beautiful dress (see links below) and I really want to make it, I have bought the Simplicity 9891 pattern but I have one big problem: I don't know how to sew in the gold trim on the neckline and sleeves (click on the links and you'll see what they look like). The U.S. war in Iraq has increased, not decreased, the threat of terrorism, according to a top-level, classified intelligence summary.

Findings of that National Intelligence Estimate on "Trends in Global Terrorism" were first reported over the weekend by The New York Times.

**The intellegence report finds the war in Iraq has fueled a new generation of Islamic radicalism, which has spread around the globe.**

U.S. intelligence chief John Negroponte disputes that characterization of the report, saying published accounts reflect only "a small handful" of the study's conclusions. However, the truth is there for all to see.

This Iraq war will end up like Vietnam and all who served will have served for nothing. Just like Vietnam. If you served you will feel empty and liberals can say "I told you so".

I am applying to be a Police Recruit at a local Law Enforcement Agency.
This past weekend I filled out my Personal Information Questionnaire. The Officer said that they will draw information from that questionnaire to be verified during the Polygraph exam. So he strongly advised us to be honest, truthful because we can't beat the box.

So I was. Now I'm kinda scared they won't hire me for what I have done. I actually never did anything too bad, but I did write down something I'm doing right now which I'm affraid will disqualify me.

One of the questions was: "What's the worst undetected crime you have ever commited? How old were you when you last did it and when?"

So I answered: "Ripping free music off the internet and burning DVD copies of DVD rentals for personal use. Last time I did it was last night. I'm willing and ready to stop doing that tonight."

If you have experience with this, could you help me out? Will they turn me down because of this? Thank You!

What if I told you I was visited by God last night? That panicking; I went to the church this morning and said “I do not believe in God, I am an Atheist but last night I he visited me and he said I would bare him another son.”

What if I had a pregnancy test that proved I was indeed pregnant and I tell everyone that I’ve never slept with anyone before and that God visited me

Would you believe I was pregnant with God’s Child? Or would you think I was easy and trying to cover up that I got knocked up outside of marriage.

Which scenario makes more sense to you? Technically speaking don’t you think it would definitely make an atheist a believer if I was knocked up by God and had his kid. Wouldn’t you rather an Atheist get knocked up because generally other Atheists would listen more seriously to another Atheist than A Believer. Or like I said, would you believers just label me a skank because why would God pick an Atheist to bring forth his next kid into the world?

In one year I will be going back to school to become a RN and i plan to go from working full time - to part time. I doint have a saving to pull from to live off from while working part time but i do have a 401k. I will be starting to put 10% now from my paycheck plus my employer matches 50%. When i start working part time next year should i pull from my 401k to be able to go to school and only work part time?

I HAVE A 25 GALLON freshwater tank with cichlids and one freshwater crab. I keep finding him on the top of the tank, by the filter. luckily he is scared of heights and hasnt jumped down to the ground yet, but i still want him to stop climbing out of the tank. I dont know what to do, because i cant relly put a screen over the tank or anything like that because if the filter, heater, etc... Any tips? I already cut all the plants so that they arenthigh enough, but he keeps getting out and i dont know how.

Hello, all. I know this situation is *so* typical. I have a research paper to do on the positive effects of fairytales and fantasy literature on children. I've found a lot of great info at SurLaLune to get me started, and I'm not trying to use this board as an escape from doing the research myself, but the children's librarian at my library had no idea what I was talking about when I asked if they had "The Last Unicorn". Should I avoid citing Bruno Bettelheim completely? I don't want my professor to think I'm foolish for citing a source who's been famously discredited. I need advice about where else I can look for good reference materials.
Any advice at all would be much appreciated; it's been 10+ years since I've done a thesis paper, and I want this one to be good. It's 35% of my grade.
