God does not answer everyones prayers, God answers the prayers of tose who truly believe in Him. And when God answers prayer He does not always answer with a yes He has three different answers Yes, No, or wait awhile. But the answers he answers are always for our own Gookd even if we can't see the good at that time.

Dear JJ.....

You are operating under a false premise. God answers prayers of those who seek Him under His ground-rules. He created the Universe & He makes up the rules. All man-made religions are futile & empty. God responds to the prayers of His children that approach Him in the manner illustrated by believers in the Holy Bible.

Well, if we accept the premise that God answers all prayers, then we would have to rule out the conclusion that all religions are wrong. In which case, we are left with the conclusion that all religions are right. I'm not sure if this conclusion is actually correct, but it "feels" right, simply because I do so love Relativistic Theology -- it drives uninformed believers completely around the bend. ;-)

I will not pretend to know what God will and will not do... however, it is possible that all religions are wrong, but since religion should be based on truth, all religions can not be right. Christ said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no man goes to the Father but by me." That statement is as direct as it gets.

Isn't It a wonderment how god just loves to get people that promotion,or to get a new house, or even help someone find his car keys. Yet for the only truly innocent people in this world, the children he just sits back and watches. He watched as they were marched into the gas-chambers of the third Rich. He watched as the Japanese tortured and raped and killed millions of children during the second world war.
He sits back today as countless children are raped, tortured and killed, every day in every country. Millions starve to death every day without divine intervention.
Now if, One were to take most western regions seriously, One could argue that god is to busy watching people, to check that they're performing sex acts in the proper manner.
Then the people preaching this garbage have the nerve to ask me if I want to be saved. My answer is that even if I did believe in a god like this, why would I want to spend an eternity with him.
Now that Ive accepted who I am, and others know who I am. And I have the satisfaction of living my life true to my own moral code, I have no fear of dying ,since all it is, is non existence, thus the absence of pain.

No, it just means that prayer is a true principle, and that's one that most religions got right.

So what you're saying is that God fits in a nice, neat little box and couldn't possibly handle listening to all of us regardless of what we believe? That's not a very functional God.

God will not hear a sinner -

Isa.59:1 Behold, the LORD'S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

Isa.59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.

Ps.66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:
