Well used to be but I think it is not a problem now, Labor Day 1st Monday in Sept. You used to stop then and didn't wear it again until Easter. Mainly since the designers all go into dark colors for winter it is hard to find white outfits but I don't think that is the case anymore.

It's an old-fashioned rule that hasn't applied since the 60's. It use to be a fashion faux pau to wear white shoes between Labor Day and Easter. Some people just can't let go of it, however. As I see it, there are no more fashion rules.

NO.. you can wear white any time you want to.
It's an old fashion rule not to wear white after labor day, but that has been retired long long ago.

It's just not done. White is more of a spring/summer thing, and not appropriate for the colder months during fall/winter.

Wear what you want. It is your own choice to decide on what to wear, and when. People in the U.S. put too much into what government and celebrity do with themselves. Superstitions suck
