I am trying to explain when to use the prepositions to a a person that is learning english as a foreign language. I am working the simple ones such as IN, ON, AT and BY.

If you know any rules/guidelines for two/worded prepositions it would be great!

Before you say it: I know the first step is to get off the computer. Now after that. I know that it is hard to believe that a woman my age with 2 kids can't clean a house worth a _ _ _ _, but I have never been a great housekeeper. Which is strange, cause my mom and dad are both compulsive neat freaks. I will say, I was much better before I got married, when I lived on my own, but now I am horrible. I usually get overwhelmed and then don't want to do anything cause it is so bad. OK, it is not like my house has moldy food plates in the livingroom or cat poop on the floor, but the kitchen is a wreck, I have let the laundry pile up, and the living room looks like a train wreck. My husband is no help to me at all, so I have just given up trying to get help from him. I don't do much on the weekends, cause I usually have both kids and him around, but today I am off work and it is just me and my 2 1/2 daughter. Where do I start, please give me a list with details? Thank you!

My best friend has been dating her boyfriend for about five months. About a month ago, she told me she wasn't ready to have sex, as she still felt too young. When i told her about my friends who have been dating for a year, who when they decided to have sex attended a health clinic together, discussed and got the pill, she said she could never do something like that, as she would be too embarrassed. However, i've heard she has told a few people that she hardly even knows she has now had sex, but specifically said she hadn't told me.She has not long turned 15. It might not be my business to know, but should i be worried? Or annoyed that she is telling random people, but not me?

and my pillow had "tracks", I won't go into details about my hair or what I tasted! I was a little pi**ed cuz I thought one of them did his "thing" on me in my sleep! I asked and they both denied it and said they had head aches too! I do it at least once a week anyways so I'm not a prude and I'm not as mad as much as I am confused and kind of scared. Now I'm wondering if it was a guy who broke in!! How could this be? I'm thinking about getting an alarm. Weird! Just wanted to share (vent, rant or report) about it.
