If someone wrongs you it wouldn't make it right for you to wrong them back because you wouldn't be displaying the behavior that you wanted from them in the first place.

Slow down with the circular logic. Always take the "high-road" and treat others with repsect. It's called "class." It's easy to be self absorbed and sink to the oppsition's level. Resist the urge, and your character will blossom.
