I don't think a leather skirt is appropriate to wear to work, especially if you are a secretary and presentation when greeting clients is important. It will make you look cheap and nasty. Satin blouse with a suit skirt is better - if you're going out after work, then you can change into the leather skirt afterwards. But unless you want to send out the message that you are a whore and will sleep with the boss or clients to get ahead in your career, leave the leather skirt at home.

I depends on the work place for one and the length of the skirt. Mini skirts of ANY type are a no no! If the leather skirt was on the tight side, maybe not. No shinny patent leather shirts, save them for the night club or bar. But if its below the knee and looks nice, I think it would be fine. Men are pigs and are going to look at you not matter what you wear. And it doesn't stop there, even the ladies are taking a double take! If wearing a leather blazer is okay, then why not a leather skirt with any time a blouse or sweater. There's a LOT of leather in fall fashion of 2013. Black, grey, browns and winter white are colors I stick to, nothing too bright. Dress with class and you will do great.

First of all, I love the skirt!!! People inform me I've nice lower limbs but I still don't wear shorts

I love long dresses. My bf desires the brief ones. So my closet is stuffed w/ 1/2 and 1/2.

I think it would be sexy, but not proper for the work place!
As you are a secretary I feel you should dress more conservatory - if you dress "trashy" then you can expect to be treated and looked on as same.

I dont know why you would wear a leather skirt, the only leather skirt that does not look trashy, tacky and skanky would be a soft neutral seude.
