Where did they all go?? I remember growing up with "Uh-oh, SpaghettiO!" and the Kool Aid guy busting throught my living room and my parents whippin' his fat a**.

I mean now the Kool Aid guy just stands there and promotes the new Kool Aid things and the "Oh Yeah!!" is even different, not to mention the busting-through-walls thing. Some parent probably complained about it, sad how they do that.

If a person is tried in a State Court on a charge and acquitted and later tried on the same charge in Federal court..Is that double jeopardy?We had a case like that in my State.

I'm a loner, but I've always been able to keep myself occupied/distracted, with music, books, films, and recently, keeping fit. These days I'm feeling restless in the evening, less interested in doing anything. Sleep is some relief, but I do tend to have vivid dreams every night, which aren't always welcome.
I've got a shitty part-time job, no money, no love life... I've been on Prozac for a year. I've tried several positive-thinking self-help books, but nothing sems to stick.
My question is: have you been here, and turned your life around? What worked for you?
No religious or insulting answers please.

My boyfriend was assaulted by his exgirlfriend and a gang of guys last week. We called the cops and my boyfriend pressed charges.. the cops took a report and told him to call the precinct for a report number so he did. When we called the desk officer told us whic detectives were assigned and when to call back so we did. Once we got the detective he tried to tell us it wasnt his.. then he actually found the index number and but said the report wasnt there. He said he would call us back and has been avoiding us ever since. We are afraid that he cant find the report and she will get away with what she did... WHAT CAN WE DO??????

My beautiful little girl is almost a month old and is having a really hard time passing gas/stools and is in so much pain that she cries through bottles and continues to cry for almost an hour, sometimes longer afterward.
My Dr. is having us switch to Similac Alimentum...after having tried EVERYTHING else. I was just wondering if anyone uses this and what you think of it. We JUST went and bought it, she hasn't had any of it yet. Just curious to know what other moms think of it and whether or not it might help!

(And just so you know, cause I KNOW someone will make this comment...I tried to breastfeed and I do not produce enough)

Although I am close with my fiances immediate family, as he is to mine, our families are complete oposites. My family is "snooty" whereas his family is "redneck". Most have never met each other accept for our parents. We dont want one side of the reception to be his family and the other mine, however, we are uncertain as how to blend them and prevent stares and rude comments.

I hate having to swallow that horrible cotton ball everytime I open up a container of asprins. Well, at least it makes my headache go away, but I'm constantly afraid of choking on it and possibly dying. I know a lot of you out there can relate to this, and are frustrated about it.
