Immigration is legal. Its the illegal immigrants that are not legal. Immigration in the US occurs by many countries. The difference is most immigrants from other countries do it the legal way. A very high percentage of illegal immigration is from Mexico. With such a high influx of illegals, I think it sets a poor precedence by allowing illegal immigrants into the US without any legal repercussions. The offending countries should be met with trade embargo's, penalties and international scorn.

Impact from 9/11. The terrorists were all legal immigrants. However, the problem now is illegal immigrants demanding US-supplied services and rights. What an outrageous slap in the face to all legal immigrants. There is nothing proud in demanding rights from the US government & citizens when illegals are proudly flying a flag of another country. Illegals should be called what they really are: CRIMINALS.

There are immigrants from most countries.
9/11 had nothing to do with the immigration issue-all terrorists were legal.
Legalization would mean you would finally know who's in US, what they are doing and make sure everyone pays taxes. Now most Latinos, who sneak in cannot pay taxes because they are not allowed. It's not their fault-they'd rather pay taxes and work legally but the law doesn't allow it. US agriculture totally relies on immigrant labor. Why not let these people work if you need them?

Pancha, you are the reason we want illegal immigration stopped now. Your country is an efffing mess and you want to make U.S. just like it by naming it Mexico, you are the first one I would send back. You are a disgrace to even get to be here and live. Go back to Mexico and fix your own country if you think the Mexicans are that good at it.

51, that isn't Pancha.. it is someone posing as Pancha making statements like that to get everyone all riled up and making her look bad.. it happens here all the time. You can usually tell the posers by the Level they are on because sooner or later they get kicked off and have to start over again.

We can limit it to the people and number of people that would be good for this country and not swamp our schools and social services.
