I am four days past my due date and getting really fed up. People keep telling me to do things such as eat a hot curry or fresh pineapple to help labour along! Also i have been told to go for long walks. Are these true and can anyone give me anymore ideas that have worked for them?

Just came back from Bangkok, and I made an observation....almost every direction I turn, I will see a Thai girl, and a caucasian man. Which makes me wonder, is this really love, or "something" else ?? (c'mon, u know wat)

What does "El" Translate to?

What does Eloheim translate to?

Since El is the Singular "God" and Eloheim is the Plural... Does that mean there is more than one God? So when God said "Let US create man in OUR own image." he was actually communicating with other's who had the power to create beings?

Is this God being a little confused about the Trinitarian throey about God? or did the Translators screw up? what's the deal?

There's Many references to many gods in the bible... So what's the deal?

Before I get a bunch of parents jumping down my throat, let me make it clear that this is not our intention BUT I would like to know if my partner stops paying child support for his son who is in another country , legally what can the mother do about it. My wife of 24 years and I seperated and now to be divorced. She said I was to controling. I believe guys call it protective, whatever at this point. She has been attached to this co-worker at her job for the past 2 yrs. without me knowing, I probably would of tried to control that, too. Any way she lives with this married man in an apt. she just leased. I have the kids and she get visitation. My 19 yr. old daughter told me a secret that I was not to share. The new guy, has issues, he cuts himself when he gets upset. Once my wife was was late getting back to him and found he had cut his leg. He said he was upset because she was late..CONTROL? now in a week my kids are to go there over night. I do not believe there would be any danger, although, his issues are a secret. I may be jumping to conclusions but, If my wife doesn't comply with him and he gets upset....I do not like it. I think my wife fell for this guy because he is NICE to her and says the right things when I did not.

i'm not too keen on sextants, astrolabes, slide rules, and their ilk, either. an accuracy of +/- 5 feet would be at the very outside of my desired knowledge. i know this might be impossible. rules of thumb are acceptable, but don't go overboard. thanks!
