we have sbc dsl. I bought a laptop and sit on the couch using it. It constantly disconnects from the dsl. then I click on our network and start again. Is it like an antenna where i have to have the dsl box up higher or my laptop wire up high? or how does that work? any suggestions

my girlfriend decided to go to school in hawaii, but she doesn't want us to break up, nor do i. i'm trying to find some sort of way to make her so homesick that she'll come home and choose another school here in ohio, where we live. i've been sending her little things in the mail to make her think about us and all the things we've been through in our relationship thus far. what could i say or do that would just put her over the edge and make her want to come home. and yes, i realize that this probably makes me a bad boyfriend because i should be supporting her no matter what, but i cant because i miss her too much to encourage her to stay...

Two days ago, I noticed that my kitten had some dark brown/blackish stuff on the side of one of his nostrils. I tried my best to look at it but couldn't tell if it was dirt or "crust". I saw that he also had some inside of his nostril. This morning, I was able to clean some of it...it looks a bit like a scab. This evening, I'm noticing a bit on both his nostrils and inside. He's also known to have crusty eyes, not all the time but often enough.

Is there any way to tell if it's just food, dirt, or if it is an infection?

Wondering if anyone has had the same experience? I don't want to panic and take him to the vet for no reason.

I'm not talking about college like Baylor or Harvord. I don't want to go to their schools because of their self-proclaimed self righteousness as well as their politics. I'm talking about schools like Texas Christian University, Texas Tech, and the University of Texas. Do they look at your competition in awarding the scholarships because I have some stiff competition?

I'm in Regular Biology. Since I don't want to pursue anything in Science and I'm going to study Art and Literature instead, would the colleges care I didn't pursue I higher method of learning in classes pertaining to science?

I hear a noise in the right back side of my car when I push the brakes pedal down, I think the brakes pads tighten toward each other and cause the noise, I am pretty sure that the back tire is part of this noise, sice I hear something touching it while I am slowing down. I don't know the reason the reason for this and hopefull somebody can explain it here. What is the average cost to fix the problem? and is it dangerous to stay like this? Thanks!
