Abortion = murder.

I think that a women loses the right to choose the moment she decides that she wants all of the benefits of sex without any of the consquences. Unless of course, it is the mom's life versus the baby's.

If a pregnant woman is murdered, the killer can be tried for two counts of murder, but if that same woman aborts her child, nothing happens.

I am a fence straddler.
Meaning that As long as abortion is not against the law, I am not going to carry any signs.
I am not necessarily pro abortion either, but I am not going to demonstrate in that area either.
I saw a man with large signs of aborted fetuses, they were very graphic. The signs were larger than life.
the big problem with this is my daughters eight, and thirteen were in the car.
They asked me questions about the blood and gore.
I guess my thought is that I am not going to tell another person what to do with their body. There are many reasons that people get abortions, it is not up to me to second guess peoples motives. If anyone abuses the matter, my attitude is, they will be the ones to answer to God.
I do not approve of minors having any procedure performed without the guidance of their parents. Of course there are some lousy people out there who only have the title parent, some of those dirt bags could be the reason for the pregnancy, if you get my drift.
Right or wrong, that is my opinion.

My thoughts on abortion are:
It all depends on the situation. I know some people who thinks that is is wrong for people to have an abortion, but... what if someone got raped and ended up getting pregnant from it, because of how the pregnancy happened they did not want to have the baby? I don't think that there is any thing wrong with that. If a woman/girl gets pregnant because she is fooling around, and she doesn't care what happens, then she ends up getting pregnant, i don't think that she should have the abortion. In that case, i think it is wrong! It all depends on the situation they are in! A lot of people think that any way which you look at it abortion is just wrong, and they are totally against it. Personally, as i already stated, to me it depends on the situation. I don't think that i would ever be able to do it, but... that is just my opinion.

depends on the situation.....and depends on the person
there shouldnt be abortion because not only are you killing a life but there are ppl around the globe who cant either have a baby or adopt. They also already have 2 or 3 kids of there own and they want more by adoption just for wanting to raise a child. It would be similar in a way of saying that your wasting a life. It would similar as saying, "there are ppl dying because of starvation and your gonna waste food"? Well are you gonna waste a life ? Why not put the child for adoption? Because Im pretty sure there are otehr ppl who are willing to raise this child for the ppl who want to adopt or for the ppl who cant conceive a baby and want one.
dont waste a life, its like "a mind is a terrible thing to waste"...

there was a story on the news acouple of years ago where an infant was adopted by an american family. He never knew who his parents were until he was 20 yrs old. After he met them, he told his foster parents he was so thankful that he was given a home and taken care of (cuz there are alot of children who arent taken in). He was so thankful that he joined the marines and went to war and he died defending this country......

so i say no to abortion

if anyone got taken advantage of then maybe. in a rape, yes. at a party and she got drunk, no thats her fault. (some might say that it is there body and they can do whatever they want with it, then why did you get drunk and put alcohol in your body then?)...
It depends on the situation and the person (what if that person had some sort of history?)..........

My thoughts are that there are so many other options. So many people desperately want a child and are infertile. They are willing to pay medical costs, help the mother in any way they can, and love the child indescribably.
There are many abortion doctors who are QUACKS. They perform abortions for the $$ and women do die from botched surgeries and suffer irreversible damage.
Last, people who call themselves pro-life are having babies...lots of them. People who favor abortion are not reproducing at anywhere near the same level. Guess which camp will have the incredible majority in the years to come?

Well, you won't hear this one very often, but I am a liberal and for the most part against abortion.
I am pro mom pro baby. I have feminist leanings.
But I feel when a woman feels the need to have an abortion she has been failed.
- someone has done her wrong most of the time, a man, society, healthcare/government.
Sure, it is her choice, but at what cost? Is it GOOD for the woman? the answer is absolutely not! Men don't have to suffer those consequences!
She is the one who has to live with the memory of holding it and then going to have it killed for the rest of her life! She will always have that memory and wonder what if about the child she never knew.
I had an unplanned baby and I love my little son so much, I can't imagine never knowing him, he has brought so much light and meaning to my world and I know I'm better and the world is better for knowing him. My second baby was planned but no different.
We need to embrace and take care of mother's to be with compassion and love.
We need to practice better contraception, women need to stand up to men more and stop being so giving and afraid to tell him to put on a condom or no sex.
I personally think abortion is disgusting.
If you know anything about fetal development and abortion procedure, you would know what I mean.
But I know that there is a real need for it, one of those unfortunate evil necessities....
So I think it needs to absolutely be restricted to the first trimester.
Thinking about how they abort babies in the second trimester, even up to !!!27 weeks!!!! knowing that they definately feel pain at 20 weeks, who knows maybe less, makes me physically ill.
Call it pro choice. but that shouldn't even be an option. it's horrific...

you know another odd fact about a woman's reasoning when getting an abortion?
That she will just have it at a later time, she's just holding off for when she's ready...
Well, no. The one who was not to be, who was destroyed was a one of a kind. It's eery how different my second child is to my first. My first boy is a sweet little prince, my second boy is a cute little monster-- I can't even imagine my second coming first, it's too weird.
and I know a woman who has had an abortion and never got pregnant again, that was her last chance. She is going through the change now and will remain childless but for the memory of her abortion...... I wonder how many countless women suffer in silence, those who are childless or not, with that memory, but especially for the childless.

As a nurse, I never liked the idea of abortion but accepted it as long as it was in the first trimester. Since the concept has been perverted to include terminating a pregnancy at any stage, I find it an abomination.

i'll go out on a limb and say that any man (including myself) who morally opposes abortion will also think a father is responsible for the children he helps to create. the moral issue would not be dropped just because a father is made accountable - to God he already is.

the depression that most women experience after abortion is pretty severe, and not so coincidental. try asking "Jane Roe" (aka Norma McCorvey). she's pro-life now btw.

I believe the human fetus is a human being. That's simple science. I also believe that we will never, ever make abortion illegal. Not even the Republicans will touch it.

the thing that i find strange is saying that abortion is murder...want to know why i find it strange? well it's because a woman has so many eggs in her body...why can't she just abandon that egg and use a different one when she's actually ready for a child?
