I would strongly suggest that you see a show on Broadway if at all possible. Visit Ground Zero, the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, and maybe go to where they tape the Today Show and try to get on camera. As for Boston, there is a pirate ship in the harbor, I would go see it. I don't think that you can get on board, but down in the water there is like a million little jellyfish. Also go to visit Cheers, it looks nothing like the tv show but it is a cool little place to go.

Auburn suggested some great things to do in NY, but I live about 45 minutes from Boston so I know it pretty well. There is The Museum of Science, Children's Museum, Boston Aquarium, Duck tours, Faniel Hall, Every place to shop you can imagine, Tons of restaurants, John Hancock tower(see the whole city), The TD Banknorth Garden(go see a Celtics game), Check out Harvard University, The Espanade where they hold the fireworks every year, The Prudential Building(Awesome View, great restaurant)...and so so much more!! Have a great time on your trip!!

Boston. Take a boat ride. Visit some of the historic sites. Take an evening walk down Boyleston and eat in an outdoor cafe.

New York. Visit Ground Zero. Ride the subway. Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. Visit Grand Central, Empire State, NBC. Go to Macys on Herald Square.

You would need a year to enjoy it all.

In Boston, take a Duck Tour. (it is a bus-like vehicle that drives you around Boston showing you sights, then it drives right into the river and acts like a boat!! It is awesome)
Also go to the Hard Rock Cafe!

New York is limitless!!! There is so much to do and see.

Have a great time.
