How many, through all of our insults about political preference and siding with our politcal parties. Did anyone stop to remember how things like that didn't really matter that much 5 years ago today? Republicans and democrats alike, how many took the time to remember?

my fiance made me delete my myspace page yesterday. I used it for nothing more than to communicate with my friends, that I actually know. He said he didn't want me to have it because 'he wanted to protect me' (we have a long distance relationship and he doesn't know all of my friends personally). I really want this page back, because my friends live thousands of miles away and it is a great and easy way for me to keep in contact with ALL of them.

I have what a dr told me were PVC's and a history of my blood pressure basically bouncing back and forth like a rubber ball. Sometimes, out of the blue, for no reason at all, my heart will literally stop for a split second, skip and flutter a couple beats, and then beat fast enough to make me short of breath, dizzy, and make my chest hurt and speed out of control so fast I can see it through my shirt and has more than once sent me to the hospital. I have to immediately stop whatever I am doing and drop straight to the floor or bend over while i am in a sitting position in order not to pass out. But heres the frustrating thing...I once had to lay there in the hospital and fill out paperwork during this whole thing and it stopped suddenly...almost like it started...except in reverse. How at risk am I for going into cardiac arrest? And why does it always stop at the most inopportune times???

My computer is a Dell Dimension 1100 desktop. The power options and power schemes are messed up. The left light on the tower remains on (green) and the right green light is blinking very occasionally (when comupter is not in use). In Power scheme settings: I put "Never" for "Turn off hard disk" and "Never" for System Standby".

It reactivates from the mouse or keys. I shut down at night. I have been told that the hard disk never turns off. Is that true? Is this state Standby(2) that I have described? Is it in low power without hibernation ( I never want hibernation). The memory is holding in ram without the hiberfil.sys file being invoked. Hibernation is not enabled.

My monitor powers down. I can see the light turn to amber and the screen blank out.

Default in bios is Low Power Mode with reactivation for mouse and keys in Suspend (S1) or Standby(S2), and (S2) . Is this (S2)? If not, is it safe to leave on
full power for 3 or 4 hours not in use?

he denied his involvement saying it was friendship, then he lied and said he was going to work, but went to see a play that she was in. when i confronted him about it he said it was none of my business. then he told me that he hasnt loved me for a long time and just stayed with me because of the kids. a few weeks later he told me that he loved me but not the way a man should love his wife, but that he wanted us to work it out. later i found out that she told him that she didn't want anything to do with him. I figured that is why he wanted to work it out with me. i do love him, we have been together since i was 15 yrs. old , i an now 50. im so confused. Also, i sent this other woman an email telling her what he was up to. like doing compatibility charts, and trying to find out as much as he could on the internet. that really made him mad. he told me that i ruined his life because now he had to quit that job and go somewhere else. and he was told not to bother her again what wrong withme

I have asked this once already but only got one answer. I English and there are alot of dangerous older people on the road. I know young people can be dangerous too but we should educate everyone. The elderly though, alot of the time don't tell the authorities about certain conditions whether it be bad eye sight or joint conditions that could make it hard for them to react quickly. I think once people get to 60 they should re-take their test and have a 6 yearly medical.

I consistently hear really bad arguments either for religion or against well-proven scientific theories/facts/laws, here and in real life religious debate. I've met lots of perfectly intelligent religious folks in my time here, and many of them are pretty well versed in science. How do you feel that the average person of your faith is not only clueless about science, but consistently tries to disprove science with poorly supported arguments or logical fallacies? For example, the single most common argument I've heard in my life has been that the Christian God exists, and this is proven by the Bible existing, and the Bible was inspired by God, so God must exist. The large majority of Christians I have talked to do not see any fallacy in this argument.
