Desktop Icons?

Why does the Icon logo's from different downloaded programs change to normal IE icon logo's.? I like them back again.

Because you have set, or it was already set that i.e would be your default reader for .html, .asp, .htm, etc. files. I have no idea how to correct it but it happens to me when I download an new program and say yes I want it to be my default program.
