I have just started dating a guy less than a week ago. He had asked me out before, but I was dating someone else at the time. We started going out, but he is very smothering and says things like he misses me etc. already and I don't think I know him well enough. My intuition tells me something is wrong with him and he kind of scares me. Do you think it is just because I finally went out with him and he is just happy I did?

I am running winows xp pro. It is a recently brought secondhand reconditioned computer, have only had it for approx 4wks. it has been working fine until today when I turned it on, everything loaded as per usual but there was a small square window saying Critical error-No datebase found? What does this mean/ How did it happen? How can i fix it? I have virus scanned, ad-aware scanned, spybot scanned etc...any suggestions besides blow it up would be greatly appreciated...

When children muck up, there is usually a root cause; we can change their behaviour if we find out what is causing that behaviour. Usually, the parents are not meeting the child's needs in one way or another. Parents have to be taught how to change their behaviour in order to straighten out the child.
Similarly, If the Muslim people are so dissatisfied with the policies of Western Society that it drives some to blow themselves and others up; and go to such great lengths to destroy America etc, they must have something very powerful to say that we could learn from.
When one fully understands the problem, surely, we can then come to a compromise which everyone can live peacefully by.

I realise this is the 'real world', but we won't have one at all, the way we are going, so why not give dialogue a chance? it can't hurt the way bombs can, it can't destroy lives the way war can, it might even help if we have the guts to try ANYTHING FOLKS!!!!

I currently have Verizon. My two year contract with them is over as of August 23rd. I am strongly considering purchasing the Hero phone with Helio, but I am not sure if it is the right thing to do, because I haven't heard anyone speaking about the service. I like in the Maryland/DC area and I know that the area determines how good your service will be...so this question may be a little to narrow. Any suggestions?

my bf, then at the time ex's-in july-were hanging out and my ex at the time which now is my again bf gave me a James Avery ring with the words "True Love Waits" inscribed on it. tonite i was hanging out with my hun and we started talking about jewelry and i wanted to give him an example of how you can tell silver from other metals. i know that silver has the # 925 inscribed inside the ring or it is visible to the eye so you can tell if it is silver or fake. my hun told me that my ring is not silver but rather white gold. the thing is that he also told me that he customized and special ordered the ring. how can i tell the difference between the silver and white gold ring-which ever it may be- since i have been to the James Avery website and they have this ring only in yellow gold? what does he mean with this ring: is he serious about me and the whole realtionship?
