Know I drank alcohol before I took the test, am I ok? Will NOT drink anymore!
Also, food not agreeing with me... meat makes me ill. What's good to eat that is healthy? Have not been to dr. yet, appt is next week. What should I be doing or not doing? Heard not to lift heavy things... I am already taking prenatal vitamins.

I am the last one in the family to carry on the family name.

My grandfather was the only boy of 6 children.

He carried on the family name to his only children: twin boys.

One twin had children who never took his name because they were adopted by another man.

The other twin (my dad) only had one child: me.

So now I am the last of the “Smith” family.

My wife and I would like to have 2 or 3 children.

I would like to have a son to carry on the family name.

It is not extremely important, but I would like our family name to continue.

I know I could have a son who never has children or only has girls and the name will die out, but I would like to try to keep it going!

Is this just stupid of me?

i just got a perm and its horrible. I wanted waves and i got a poodle instead. i read up on it and found out i should use a straighter/ relaxer/de-frizzer--but i dont know which one to go and buy. I know John-Fredia is good but is there anything else?

Ok, I'm not one to talk about people's looks because I believe we get what we get and we just have to work with it. But, but, but...Fergie, is making me wonder. Her face is really hard to look at. I don't really know what it is. I don't know if it's her skin, masculine chiseled-like features, or the amount of make up she wears, but the girl looks....I don't even know what the word is, hurt maybe. She's not ugly...that's not the word. But from a distance she doesn't look so bad, but when the camera gets close....it's like aaaaaooooooh--ICK---pan out pan out! She can sing her butt off though.

my girl leaves me but when she did i told her i needed time to work things out and we cannot talk for a while. "ill talk when i can hadle it"..she comes to talk to me in a few days and says she cannot go without talking to me but she doesnt want to get back together. i bring myself to tell her that we cant talk for a while again..it was really painful the first few times and she doesnt listen. do you think she is giving me false hope for no reason or do you think she want to be back together????

I saw the video for a song on tv and then a few days later heard it on the soundtrack of a film. I can't remember the name of the film or song, but I can remember the video. It's from the 80s has a really great piano meodly in it, and is something to do with life. In the video the singer is sitting at a piano in the middle of the forest. He's wearing shades and dark red long coat. And that's the video.In the forest lots of steam and stuff. This is driving me mad. please help!!!!

I really appreciated your interest in this question, but I closed it too soon and didn't get to say much.
I was hard on dad. Over all, he is very loyal with a lot of integrity, and has other wonderful traits. He takes good care of us financially (great work ethics), and I really appreciate all of this. His pride is a bit overpowering at times, he alienates us emotionally, and has been critical when we really needed guidance. So, how can I help our children have more respect for their dad? He has done some harm in the past, and he reignites the pain by not trying to understand the current issue. He shoots back at them defensively instead of asking questions that could help defuse the situation. He thinks I have to stand up in the middle of the argument and tell the kids to respect him, or they never will. I do talk to them privately & respectively which calms them down, and then he reignites the pain again next chance he gets. I do respect him for who he is. But Help.

If we are going to stay in Iraq past two years....which we are....shouldn't we think about a draft? We just had soldiers getting ready to board a flight back home after 1 year in Iraq and we pulled off and said, "get back in the fight, your not going anywhere". We just recalled Reserve Marines who did there time to "get back in the fight, your not done yet"? ****...bring on some willing illegals, low-security prisoners and of course some rich kids to mix it up a bit. This is not fair for the troops here....we need a better plan than just recycling these kids back in forth. What happen to a large percentage of our Vietnam Vets? Expect the same from some these Iraq Freedom soldiers.

my son can climb out of his crib now so we got him a regular car bed with a twin mattress and he wont stay in there asleep. He will wake up usually within 4 hours of going to sleep and come into our room and even if we let him sleep with us he still whines, any suggestions? I hate my job. It's not the work it's my bosses and the micromangement we are under. Do you know the process they will be going through?, I have heard that is better to do it outside the us and then the us citizen can request a "waiver". But I believe about 5 years ago The border patrol caught him and they took fingerprints.
Do you know if the INS looks for information on the Border Patrol database? And besides all that, do you know how much are the fees? any help would be deeply appreciated, thank you .

I give up. . .there is absolutely no where in Amarillo, TX to meet someone my same age, same interest, beliefs, morals, dreams, and what have you. I have tried church, bars, internet, daycare, groc. store, and God knows what else to just simply find a friend to talk to-get to know-share some romance and passion-build a healthy promising relationship for a change.

And what have I got - a bunch of over grown men still being manpowered with body parts that they should have gained a bit of control over in there teens, or men that aren't just a bit of a white liar - later with some common sense find they wouldn't know the truth if it hit them.

This is hopeless. And, I am learning really fast how to be grateful for what I got with my children and learning how to like and accept being alone for the rest of my God given life.

Anyone know how to find that acceptance and grace of being okay with not even being able to find a friend.

HELP ME, I am dieing here.

My husband and I are trying to concieve. Its too early for me to take a HPT (which I did anyway with a neg. result). Yesterday I was out with some friends and this feeling of extreme nausea came over me for about 30min!! and then a little this morning but it went away pretty quick. My period isnt due for 2 weeks. Is it possible to feel this way before the test can show up positive!? I dont have any other symptoms!! ...what do you think!!???

It seems to me that most people in the USA are uneducated (many have degrees, but few are educated). This may also be true elsewhere. Reading seems to be a thing of the past. Granted, there is an elite that has a knowledge base far superior to those who lived in the past - but, by and large, I think the population as a whole is relatively dumber.
