I just got a new PC that shipped without an OS. I loaded in WinXP and upgraded to SP2. When I put in a disk, and try to run programs I get an error:

Entry Point Not Found
The procedure entry point Iniitialize CriticalSectign could not be loaded in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL

It's odd because I booted from the CD drive and loaded Win XP with no problem. Now nothing wants to run. I tried a few different disks with the same result. The disk reads fine, and you can copy files to the harddrive from it. I was able to open IE and go online, upgrade the OS, everything but run programs from the CD.

Ug - please help. Let me know if you need further details.

Feminists boast that they cannot compete with men because of their physical limitations. Then why is it that they cannot compete with men in games like chess where muscle power is not required? It is because chess is a game invented by man and for men in accordance with his mental specialties. Computers are another field where women can't really compete because computers are designed by men in accordance with their cerebral specialties. The present world is a world developed by man and for men in accordance with their cerebral qualities which are different from women's. Women trying to compete with men in a man's world is like our trying to compete with ducks or fish in swimming. I have no sexual prejudices, But I think women should develop a world of their won in accordance with their specialties instead of trying to compete with man in his world and playing spoilsport.

I remember several years ago they had no state taxes and wondered if it has changed. If so, what is the state tax percent?

my period had ended for the month of august on the 17th. my boyfriend and i had sex for the first time on the 21st then twice on the 23rd. we used a condom for all three times. on the 25th, i started to bleed but it wasnt normal. it was brownish and came out thick and in little chunks. it wasnt like a regular flow. i still get it once in awhile up to today and its really starting to freak me out. i usually dont start my period until the 13th. is this normal? or am i just freaking out because i dont want to be pregnant? :/

He's the lead singer for those of you who don't know. As of January 26, 2007, he will have been married for five years and he still doesn't have a kid yet!!! Personally, I believe that he would look adorable with a daughter, but either one would do. He is an uncle on two sides of his family. His younger (yes younger, by three years *hint hint*) brother has a year and a half year old son, and his wife's sister has two kids of her own. I think that's adorable, but he needs a kid of his own. I'm not trying to be critical, I'm just looking for opinions. I don't really care that much, I just think it would be cute. Does anyone else think it's about time? Just looking for feedback on this to see if I'm the only one who thinks so. Please don't be mean, I'm just looking for other comments on the matter. No apparent harm intended. Maybe I'll get a more positive reaction this time around. I can only pray, though, right? We'll see what happens.
