No! No! Don't stop drinking milk. This is probably the one time in your life that you need to really concentrate on eating healthy. Your baby and your own bones and teeth depend on the calcium you are getting now. You also need the protein of milk. If you cut back on milk, you may find that you will need extensive dental work after your pregnancy. If you are gaining weight, you might try drinking non-fat or 1% milk - or just spend a little more time each day walking. Cut back on fatty foods, eat lots of fruit and veggies, and take good care of yourself. This is NOT the time to go on a diet.

I think if your body is craving milk, keep drinking it. The cravings we get during pregnancy tell us what our bodies need to help the baby.

DON"T GIVE UP THE MILK!! try 1% or 2% . you need milk to keep you healthily and to help provide calcium for you new baby. otherwise the baby will zap it all from your body, then you are deficient.

Weight gain is good. It protects you from injury to your bones in case of an automobile accident.
