I recently started smoking, I smoke Kool Menthol, I don't know the real reason I smoke, I stared out of cursiouty? Everyone else around me was smoking? How about you? Why did you start? What do you smoke? At what age?

I started smoking at 17 because my best friend did. Then I became a social smoker, wasn't really addicted I just did it. I think it was an alternative to eating, you know the starving college student and all. Anyway I got married at 24 and he didn't like it so I quit. I could smoke a pack today and never pick them up again. I'm one the lucky ones because I wasn't addicted. Marlboro lights

I have no idea why I started smoking. I think it was to piss my mom off. I'm 26 now, and I started smoking when I was 13. It's actually pretty gross. I smoked everything I could get my hands on, but have always preferred Marlboro Medium 100s. I started with Reds, went to Lights. Lights made me cough more in the morning, so Mediums Ive smoked ever since. Smoked Menthol's, Cloves, Pot, Speed...Quit all that crap...Just cigs now. I'll probably be dead in about 10 years. Quit while there's still time!

I started when I was 16, because
I thought I just looked too cool with
a cigarette between my fingers
and tilting my head at a certain
angle and blowing smoke in the
air.
Then when I got to three packs
a day(and night!) I decided it
may not be so cool, it may just
be ignorant!
I quit by the sign of the moon.
The second day of Sagittarius.
It comes every month. It is the
sign of the moon that the farmers
wean their calves. It worked!
Thank goodness I am free!!!
And filthy rich from saving all
that money!

I smoked because when your in 8th grade...peer pressure is a *****...and now..im an addict..I smoke Marb Mild Menthol 100's..i started when i was 14 or 13...cant member...

52, smoke Winstons, started at 18, started smoking out of boredom, wish I never started the damn things. You could say that I am addicted to nicotine and it's a tough nut to bust.
Quit now while you are still young...it'll be a lot easier now than later.

It's part of my culture to smoke tobacco - out of peace pipe i.e. it's better then Menthol.
