Well the 11 million people that are already here what do you do them? I like the sound of that, but in your amendment make sure you create provisions where the illegal immigrants that are ALREADY here get that, and not for future. Because otherwise your creating a system which is a win win situation for the illegal immigrant. For example, If I am an illegal immigrant, and I know in ten years I will be a US citizen, why not? This amendment should include those guidelines. As for why do we ened them? We need them because these guys do our jobs for 5 bucks an hour where if you hired some citizen to do it you'd have to pay them minimum wage. This turns out profitable for the employer and many large companies. Those are hte peoplee that run the economy.

first let me say Iam sorry to say that most illegals will work and do the jobs that whites and blacks won't do, no matter what you pay them, 2nd I personally don't know of one company or employer who works illegal immigrants for $5 per hour, the ones I know would not work for $5per hour,it is more like $10 per hour and up, but when you can't get whites or blacks to work for any price what else are the employers to do? they would haft togo out of business without the illegal immigrants, is this what we want?
do you want houses to be built, roads , what about your farms Resturants and other food processors , if not for the illegals a lot of us would go hungry, and we would be without a lot of other services that we relish, however, I don't think automatic citizenship would be the answer, as that would undermine our laws and legal system, and encourage more violations But why not open up a legal channel so as to let them become citizens legally, when they meet certain established critieria, and have a system that they could come here on a as needed basis, then America would have the labour force needed to progress, and a lot of lives would be saved by those who try to cross that god forsaken desert illegally, our quota system is in a shambles and to politically motivated, just think of the tax revenue we would also gain, 3rd mexicans would seem to have more of a right to come here than the Islanders, Africans, and most others who holler for their welfare checks before they get off of the boat, after all we took the whole western half of the U,S, from mexico, therefore to be fair it seems mexicans should have priority over others.I would think this would be a good start at least for a 28th ammendment, what doyou think?

This is an interesting idea. However, I do like the idea that a person should be expected to gain citizenship to the U.S. if they will be here for any length of time (say 10 years).
We don't need illegal immigrants, but the immigrants often work the jobs that no one else will do. And it's not always possible to pay everyone a living wage. Not every business owner makes millions of dollars a year.

Because God has brought all the peoples of the World together for a reason. There will soon be worldwide war due to
shortages in resources. Not so much that we don't have enough,
but foolish people, with thier self-righteous rhetoric, will inflame
hatred all over the world, and the fighting will force this on us.
Despite ridiculous remarks that will be made up. We are going to
need people to defend our countries. Work to supply our Armed
Services, etc, etc.
But hopefully, with so many peoples fighting together, we might get sick of the fighting more quickly. Since we are finally
realizing there is only one race. The human race. And we might work together to prepare for the real problem. The Worldwide
Earthquake that is coming.
Then, God help us all!

So they can do your landscaping, watch your children, clean your hotel room, pick your fruits and vegetables, build your houses, wash your windows, clean your house, cook your food, pick up your garbage...I could go on and on. These jobs don't pay much but they do the jobs no one else wants. If conditions to request a visa to come to the USA in Latin America weren't so obnoxious....most illegal immigrants wouldn't cross the border. They would come legally and try to establish some kind of residency the correct way. All they want to do is work and help their families....most would go home tomorrow if they had work stability in their countries.

You could take the position that it is always wrong to break the law and that if you grant an amnesty to illegal immigrants you are rewarding law breaking and that can never be right. To do this undermines the rule of law and brings the law into disrepute.

We don't need "illegal immigrants",but the need for cheap labor exceeds rules for legal immigration and many cultures don't care about US laws and therefore break them when they feel like it.
In my opinion, no illegal immigrant should ever automatically become a citizen, thats like saying long term prisoners need to vote.
