It should be legal. Morally, I disagree with it, but I don't judge anyone else that does it. I believe the prostitutes would be less likely to spread diseases since it would be mandatory to have check-ups every so often. Also, it is a victimless crime.

"Escorts" should be legal, I think. It already kind of is, but if you want an escort, you have to look for one online. I think as long as it's something you're not going to see unless you're specifically looking for it, it should be legal.
I think prostituting on street corners should be illegal (which it is) but it's just nasty. What you do in the privacy of your own home is your business, but what you do on a street corner is everyone's.

No. You can GIVE it away to whoever you want, but since it cannot be taxed (except in Nevada) then it is considered a bad thing and illegal.
As George Carlin once said.. "Selling is legal, f**king is legal, why isn't selling f**king legal?"

Well, I don't know why it should be unless it's to discourage it in these venerally diseased times. It's been practiced for centuries and they still can't put a stop to it. Perhaps they should just make it legal and collect occupational taxes on it.

Make more and more activities / deeds illegal and we will have more people who flaunt the law. We will have more policing to do, and thus more police personnel. Criminals would try to get away from the law and resort to innovatie ways of doing them. It will lead to more policing and then more police... the cycle spirals!

i'm going to steal george carlin's argument that selling is legal and f%^*#@^ is legal, so why isn't selling f%&@#*! legal? there isn't any trouble with consensual sex, why is the addition of monetary gain worth getting pissed about. much like homosexuality, who you have sex with should be your own business and no one elses. particularly the deatils of your sex.

of course if a woman can have an abortion why couldn't she sell herself too? they can all catch aids and die too.
