Maybe it's from the atomic weight? Maybe someone thinked of a formula stating that the atomic number came from the atomic weight with this formula:

Legend: A.W. is atomic weight while A.N. is atomic number.

A.W. (cancel all decimal places)
divided by:
2
= Atomic number.

I tried this, my own "experimental" formula whether it works. It worked accurately with oxygen and carbon, but in other elements, (try with krypton) it won't work. The quotient wasn't the atomic number in the Periodic Table of Elements, and I think the reason is that Krypton and other unequal A.N. elements belong in different groups are because they naturally need to be in a certain family or group. When I used the formula with krypton, it had the A.N. of 42, in the metals. Unfortuantely, krypton SHOULD belong to the non-metals.

I am searching for the truth if this formula is to be true. I have to prove this quick though, I need help in my never-ending researching. Thanks!

Do you consider it cheating and if you don't, why wouldn't you tell your other half if you don't think you're doing anything wrong?

I have been thinking about me being married. I honestly and truly never want to get married or live with anyone that I am intimately involved with. I am in a relationship now. I love my girlfriend, everything is great. But I know for sure that I never want to move into together. It not just because it is her, I'd feel that way about anyone. I feel more comfortable being a loner. Do you think this is normal? Do you think something is abnormal?

I have just built a backyard pond, 1,400 gallons or so. All has been normal until now. a few goldfish are really giving one of there own a rough time, chasing it alll over even forcing it to break the surface of the water frequently. All the fish are new, and all came from the same well established pond. All are goldfish.
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreactiated.

From what we see on the US media, we are fed almost daily only with the most outrages views on Islam, like that muslims are all opressers of women, or the latest Bush ultimato that try to link islam with facism though that even Italians deny that link!

Why is it that there is not much attention is being given to the bright side of Islam, like that it shares alot of values with Christianity, like the belief in all biblical prophets, or that the acceptance of Jesus, for example?

Is it that people in Charge do not know about Islam?

Or Is it because those people like to push people to live in fear to invoke their vision about putting both sides in a war that would be of their benefit?

Or is it that they view Islam as a threat? A threat for people, or a threth to the Imperialist hegemony desire or what?

Or if you see a better answer, please let us know..

I have a 2 month old that has a viral infection. The only thing that the doctors could give her was some nose drops. Well, she went to sleep last night at 6, and has only woke up to eat, and then shes right back asleep again. My baby usually doesn't go to bed until 10 and then is up for the day, or atleast for 3 or 4 hours, at 5:30 am. I know she is sick, but should I worry because she won't get up? Every time I try to wake her she starts crying, and she never cries unless something is wrong. Should I worry, can i get some other answers other than ask your doctor please!

Several pointed out the absence of God in my beliefs. For me, the belief in God is optional, whatever helps you learn to accept the power of Love.

If you need a God, then God is the universe and all life within it. We are part of the eyes and ears and other sensory organs of that God. We, along with all life, contribute to God's awareness. We worship God when we Love. We reject God when we hate.

On the other hand, no belief in a divinity is required to believe in the power of Love. We experience that power when we love our parents, our spouse, our children, our friends. Love brings out the best in us and encourages us to find more within ourselves to give even better.

Is it Religion, Atheism, Agnosticism...something else?
