Do you consider it cheating and if you don't, why wouldn't you tell your other half if you don't think you're doing anything wrong?

My hubby was on here with me last night and from a mans point of view I will quote his words... " Cheating is anything you do secretly." Simple and to the point.

Well My old friend visted me a good while back and as I was saying bye at my car window he was leaning there and then leaned in and kissed me I sat there and was like what was that he said he was testing me and " I passed" I was flabergasted at the experiance (History .. this is my best guy friend since early High School. Had tenison between us during school but never acted not even kissed then.) He said he was making sure I was realy happy and not just putting on a front and since we haven't and don't see each other realy any more except over years at a time he was just testing me.... I drove home thinking about this and wanted to tell my husband but I could understand why this happened And fear he won't like me to see my friend any more because of this "Test" So after sleeping on this playing in my mind I told my husband ""I had a Dream"" and said this happened in my dream making sure I said I didn't kiss back and he was testing me ect... My Husband Laughed and said well I can understand that you just saw him after so long and your breain was wodering "what If" well I didn't get to much more in to it so I felt a little better from telling him I however haven't seen him again since then or talked to him like we used to ... I think My husband has figured out though it wasn't a dream.. Sooo my point is If it feels like cheating to you OR your husband then yes it is cheating .. Now if your not married Then also the same thing applies if either one of you feel betrayed by the experiance then yes it is cheating and if it dosent then you shouldn't be together... Unless you two are into that type of thing...

Yes I do consider kissing someone else cheating, why would anyone think its OK to do that, by not telling your partner its an admission of guilt isn't it, obvious they are up to no good if hiding that fact, the next step to kissing someone else and hiding the fact is sex in the afternoon in some hotel were they think they won't be caught, they always get caught though and end up destroying not only their own partnership but that of the person their cheating with, seen so many peoples life's end in pain because they thought it was OK to go kiss someone else.

There is always a cheating curve. I wouldn't kiss someone else because I know my partner does consider it cheating.

I consider it naughtiness. I have done kissing other girls when I have had a girlfriend. I confessed to my girlfriends as soon as practicable, and promised not to do it again.

The times when this has occurred have always been under the influence of alcohol, and the absence of the girlfriend for one reason or another. Sometimes, it would appear to be a test.

I wouldn't tell my other half if I did not have another half.

If it's just a peck as if to say hello or goodbye, then no, it's not cheating. However, if it's on the lips and you "know" it's not a "simple" kiss, then YES, it's cheating. If you feel you have to keep it from your other half then it IS cheating!

i was exactly asking myself the same thing this morning..

i KNOW that it's cheating and i KNOW that it's wrong and unfair for you to kiss somebody else.. without telling your partner

maybe a part of you wants to think it's alright.. because you want to kiss somebody else.. but it's not.. it's very wrong, if you love your partner so much you would let these thoughts dwell in your mind

Of course its cheating. Even going on a romantic date with someone is cheating, as long as the intent to engage intimately with that person is there.

Kissing is my favourite thing!
It is really because its so intimate. face to face is an amazing place to be and though people consider sex to be the ultimate intimate thing, I consider it kissing.
In my experience I have been in relationships with people I have continued sleeping with but did not want to kiss anymore. I understand now that I was wrong by staying with them. I am trying to be honest.

Of course it's cheating. Kissing another person is a violation of trust and hurtful to the other person.
