Do you want a solid wood floor or an engineered wood floor (veneered)? I assume that you do not want a laminate.
The best solid wood floor is Junckers. They also do engineered floors. Atkinson and Kirby are also good suppliers.
Unless you are experienced, you will need someone to fit these for you. Junckers, in particular, will only supply to people that they know are trained in fitting.
Where do you want to fit this material? Have you thought of a 'lookalike' vinyl for the job? Karndean, Amtico, Polyflor and Altro have some very good material. (check your search engine, all of these names will come up with their own site).
We all rely on the Internet for options - but does it really give an idea of price? It depends on what you want to pay and what the use is.
I would need more information to advise you further.

You might try skip-shopping!. A year ago, £18,000 was lavished on new flooring for a school in Forest Hill, South London. Last month, they demolished the place! Quality flooring was disappearing out of the skips as fast the demo men were heaving it in.

Try Yellow Pages for Architectural Salvage. They aren't as cheap as they were, but they can have some bargains compared to new and reclaimed floors can add character and ££££'s to the price of the property
