No I don't have the desire to be famous, just happy and successful. Aim for excellence, not perfection. I wouldn't want to be famous. All that pressure, lack of anonymity etc - no thanks.
However, I do believe that everyone has some sort of 'star quality' in them (that includes you). The potential to DO GREAT THINGS, but whether they become famous or not depends on the things they are doing.
Lots of famous people become famous because they are looking for love. Maybe they haven't been loved much in their lives, so fame provides them with the respect and adoration they have never really had.
Now, if you want to be something great personally (or have a great personality) begin cultivating your sense of self-esteem. Start by thinking about your good qualities, and what you can bring to the world. Think about what you are good at and what you like doing. These are the areas where you can really excel and DO GREAT THINGS.
Then at the same time, start working on your self-opinion. Think great things of yourself. Know that you are worthy of being a great person. You'd be surprised at what starts happening when you do this (I have had this experience a number of times before). You will attract people who value you and treat you well, and you will also find yourself in situations where you really excel. Where you can be yourself and TRULY FLOURISH.

Only when it relates to my relationship with Jesus Christ. Otherwise No, I have no desire to become famous except in the eye's of God. Jesus is the way to God and to Life Eternal. I think you have to get this self centredness out of your life and God will reward you if you love and honour Him. Then you will be a great personality, to what really matters in your life. As well as to others.
After all, this world is not our home, just a temporary dwelling place until we enter Heaven, that's home. Just put your trust in the Lord Jesus, then you will be a great and wonderful person before Him. Because without Him, whatever you acheive in your life, will count for nothing. The more you live for God, the more your desires will fade away and you will be filled by a great desire to live and work for Christ. Bringing others to Him, and gain an understanding of His desire for you, while you're alive on this Earth.

The two don't necesarilly go together, I think everyone wants to become a great personality, or at least to be seen as that by others, but not everyone wants to become famous, I have a friend who volunteers his time to helping raise money for childrens charities, as well as becoming a 'friend' of a childrens hospital, where he helps organising events, and sometimes dresses up as a clown for parties there, someone told him that a group of people wanted to put him up for an award, which made him quite angry, "why should I go to a waste of money function where they'll pat me on the back put my face in the paper, when all that time and money could've gone to help a dying child!?" he asked me, he's got a fair point!

I have no desire at all to become famous, infamous maybe lol... I cant understand how people want fame and I really cant understand how people with obviously no talent can get upset when, for instance, they go to things like The X Factor and get rejected. Get a life!!! there are many more things to do with your life than be famous for being a div ..... Love and family is much more important than being famous.
There... that's my rant over. Good luck with trying to be famous anyway. xx

I'd like to be a legend by a) helping to change attitudes/doing something pioneering and b) doing it my way. I'd rather have done something worthwhile to earn my fame/notoriety than be some vacuous media puppet.
So I've had a couple of pioneering moments in my time, but I'm hungry for more. Being the world's most creative person would be good :-)

No, but I do have a great desire to help people. I am currently writing children's books, doing my marketing job, in college, and crocheting blankets for the poor along with caring for my husband and children and keeping my house looking great.

Not everyone does, perhaps 40% do, but to achieve this in England (if you live here), you will have to learn some basic English vocabulary and grammar first.
There is nothing wrong in being ambitious, and it helps to have talent and brains, too. Failing that, a lot of luck, and good looks!
Good luck in your quest!

I used to want to be famous.....but then I realized I probably couldn't handle fame anyway. Now I just want to enjoy what I have and be thankful for the numerous ways I've been blessed over the years. That's good enough.
