We were thinking about requesting money instead of gifts because we would have to ship everything,but didn't know if that would be rude. We also looked into requesting gift cards but those expire in a year and we wont relocate back to the states for
2 years. Are there any other alternatives? We would like a few gifts because they are personal but are there any other alternatives?

Our living room is in the back of the house and we have french doors that open inside that lead to our patio. I make all of my own drapes and am just stumped as to what options I have with these new doors. I want a lined curtain of some sort and nothing swaggy. I've already chosen my fabrics, just looking for style ideas.

well it is a big cat..measuring around 14 inches long and quite on the chubby side. he looks rough too. is it okay to have my cat on a leash? my male cat is huge. he eats half a bag of whiskas a day. : (

When I was younger I wanted to have children and a family but my reasons were pretty jacked up. First I wanted to be a house wife so I could stay home with my kids to raise them, but then I started getting extremely indulged in my career and now marriage and children do not fit into my equation and I've discarded the thought of pursuing a man in that direction. I'm in a long term monogomous relationship and I kind of think that because he wasn't ready to get married and have kids when we first met that now he missed out on the opportunity with me...I don't know if I've conditioned myself to feel this way or if I really don't want kids and a husband of my own anymore...Its like he took all the fun out of the elements of uncovering mystery, making plans, and being surprised. : ( Plus I don't think he'd be a good father...I don't think he'd be involved enough...like he'd set them up with video games and leave the room all the time but rarely plan educational activities for them.

My husband and I can't seem to agree on anything financial. We separate everything and are behind because of it. We finally agreed to combine our finances and work together. I have my own personal bank account and we have a joint account. Because of his credit he doesn't have an account. After agreeing to combine everything, he insists on having access to my personal account. I feel that as long as all our money goes into the joint account I should be able to use my account for personal spending. I don't feel he should have to check my personal account. I don't check his wallet! So now that I don't agree to giving him access to my account, he doesn't want to combine things like we had agreeed and we are back at square one. Any advice on how to work this out would be great. If we can't work together we are headed for divorce.
