my husband just put a home hair coloring kit into my hair and he followed all the instructions exactally....my hair was suspost to turn blonde but instead it only turned a lighter shade of brown!

I just dropped them in HD>Library>Fonts, does this mean I have installed them properly?

in the fonts book some of them have a dot icon next to them, does htis mean they are not properly activated?

Another year has passed
and we're all a little older.
Last summer felt hotter
and winter seems much colder.

I rack my brain for happy thoughts,
to put down on my pad,
But lots of things that come to mind
make me kind of sad.

There was a time not long ago
when life was quite a blast.
Now I fully understand
about "Living in the Past"

We used to go to weddings,
football games and lunches.
Now we go to funeral homes,
and after-funeral brunches.

We used to have hangovers,
from parties that were gay.
Now we suffer body aches
and while the night away.

We used to go out dining,
and couldn't get our fill.
Now we ask for doggie bags,
come home and take a pill.

We used to often travel
to places near and far.
Now we get sore asses
from riding in the car.

We used to go out shopping
for new clothing at the Mall
But, now we never bother...
all the sizes are too small.

We used to go to nightclubs
and drink a little booze.
Now we stay at home at night
and watch the evening news.

That, my friend is how life is,
and now my tale is told.
So, enjoy each day and live it up...
before you're too damned old!

i restarted running recently for about 3 weeks. ive started to develop shin splints. it is fairly mild so far but i would like to try to minimize the pain and help prevent it if possible. what can i do? is there a cure? what causes shin splints?

outside when the man approached me and asked where the closest truck stop was that had a television lounge or if I had a room that he could get out of the cold. I had many truck drivers help me when I was homeless and thought this was a chance to repay kindness for kindness. I informed him that Kleins Truck Stop was 12 miles North and Flying J Was South by Delano. That stop had a big TV lounge and he could easily get a ride back to FSO from another trucker when his truck was repaired. He then went on to say how he had given his money to a "******" (pls don't confuse this term with people of the black rsce. He claimed that ge had taken off with his money and he wouldn't be able to get a COM Check until the next morning. I believed him only because I knew this to be true.
