What hair dye would you guys recommend for that color?
Please dont say anything about going to a proffessional, as I wanna do it myself.

Thanks!!

Go to a Walgreens, get this stuff by Herbal Essences, it is called blonding. Look in the color type for it to say XL then a number. This means that there is a bleanch in it. With dark hair you may have to leave it in longer than it says on the box. To check the progress have an old towel handy and pull on a strand to get the bleach off and see what color you are at, if it isn't as light as you would like rub that hair with no dye on it any more on to another strand to get more bleach back on.

Make sure that you get a DAMN good conditioner because whenever you lighten with bleach especially from dark hair it leaves your hair very very dry!

MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT JUST GET A BOX OF REGULAR HAIR COLOR THAT DOESN'T HAVE A BLEACHING AGENT IN IT! IF YOU DO, YOU WILL GET ORANGE HAIR AND NOT LIKE A CUTE PUNKY ORANGE.... IT'LL LOOK TERRIBLE, BELEIVE ME I KNOW! lol

Good luck!

I am a female, but if I were you, I would try Clairol for Men. It might be a good idea to start with the temporary colors that last through about 28 shampoos (no peroxide in these) just to make sure you will like it before you use any permanent dye.

Go to the Beauty supply store (Sally's, if you have one) buy an on the scalp packet of high lift bleach, a bottle of 30v or 40v creme peroxide and ask for a little packet of this violet stuff to add to the bleach to counter act the brassy color. Then look for a hair color I believe is called silver fox by wella. I have known people who have done this and have had the results you are looking for. But remember, when doing your hair yourself nothing is guaranteed. Good luck!

Clairol Herbal Essence is one of the most "natural" haircolouring kits. Go to Target or Walmart and check out what they have. Home haircolouring has gotten a lot better over the years. Definitely use the conditioner the kit gives you! Manic Panic is another option. You could always try Sally's Beauty Supply (it's not just for the pros).

(calculates in head) ok one step or 2. I would say darken your roots first and then use a blond. Leave the blond in until desired color (not necessarily according to box. One step: Just use the blond until desired color of blond. Good luck

Im sorry but I have to say it. You need to go to a professional. At home products don't work as well as the products proffessionals use. Just trust me on this one.

I would go for a sandy blonde or strawberry blonde colour.

If you want the dark roots as in the picture, make sure you dye your hair starting from 1cm out from the root.

Just go to the store, Wal*Mart, Target, KMart etc & look at the products they have there. & make your decision. READ THE DIRECTIONS BEFORE BUYING.

I would (IF I WERE YOU), go to a salon or professional for this type of look!
