I went on a little road trip last weekend and while on the interstate I drove into a massive storm with wind, and buckets of rain...people didn't slow down and it was hard to see who was in front of me. Does anyone else hate when being in this position? My first thought is....hydroplane.

I enjoy listening to Canadian stations on my GM car radio. I live in Detroit and am able to get pull in stations as far away as Toronto and Hamilton. Is there anything on the market that i could add to my car radio that would help make the reception stronger (Just for the AM Band)? Thank you.

We've been dating for a month. We see eachother once a wk on average. He works 2 jobs/sometimes 80 hours a week-so i know he's very buzy right now, and i respect that. He calles me almost every day. At times however it will stop & I will call him lv a message & he wont' call back for a day or so. He says its becasue he's buzy, but too buzy to make a 10 min phone call. Or he'll tell me he'll call & then he won't. I hate that & i finally told him I feel very ignored when he does it. I'm not being needy, just want a call returned once in awhile. Why do men Have such a problem making phone connections!

Not quite sure about how to put this but here goes. Not counting the terrible loss of life, do you think people would have liked to see those threatened attacks?
There was so much footage of all the other attacks and we all had this morbid facination over the deatils, can't we find a way of explaing to the perpetrators that we are not scared but facinated and then angry?
Or do they already know that? Is the purpose merely to kill us?
If that is the case then the only way is to kill them?
Or have I got this all wrong?

Now days it seems like the "old school" way of raising kids is looked down upon as abuse or mistreatment. By "old school" I mean the way my parents and grandparents were raised. They did not back talk their parents,cause if they did, they got their butts set on fire(my dads words) Kids had to help out around the house. I dont mean do a couple of chores a week. They got outside in the heat or cold and helped weed the garden, pick cotton (Yeah, my mom and dad both remember doing that), hand wash laundry. Nowdays, people let their kids sit around watching TV and paying videogames. And heaven forbid we spank our kids anymore! There are alot of parents using what I call "psycho babble". This is when little Tommy nails his sister in the head with a toy and his mom sits him down and says "Now Tommy, thats not very nice. Are you angry about something? Lets talk about your anger.", instead of busting his rear. Why is "old school" so taboo now days? It worked on our parents didnt it?
