Often when you have been wronged it can be hard to trust people again. Trust in yourself, be confident that no matter how much you are wronged, that there is always another person out there that is worth trusting, and worth loving. Have a lil faith, and a positive attitude will pave a road of trust to wherever you are wanting to go.

Well, I take it that you've been cheated off by your family or friends. Of course there is still someone in the world that is worth trusting. Your parents for one are the people you can trust with your lives. Think about it and you will find an answer.

I have a rule. I'll trust anyone...once. I have a short list of people who I've known for a while who I trust. I give everyone I meet the benefit of the doubt, but I have no problem moving them over to the OTHER list.

People are fallible, and will fail you at times. But I have experienced that people who have a life changing relationship with Christ are the most trusting. I’m not talking about religious people. I’m not talking about someone who just goes to church. But those that have an intimate, personal relationship with Christ. Because as we grow in that, we learn to truly understand what it means to love. That it’s a choice, not a feeling, and we can choose to love anyone. That Honesty is important, with others and our self. They are not seeking life for themselves, but for God. So those that are selfless (or strive to be) are more trustworthy than those that are selfish and only after what benefits them, even if they have to lie for it.

If you are talking about people, I would have to say yes. You have to remember that most people make a mistake and call acquaintances friends or actually don't quite understand what friendship means. It is when you think of another person before you think of yourself. In 62 years I have only 3 friends, that's it.

You're confusing trust and caring with dependance. You can trust people because they care, and many will always do their best to do the right thing.

You're depressed because you've depended on people to help you stand, and they've failed. Only God can do that right! When you depend solely on God, you can trust others without fear of loss.

Ps 118:8 It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

2 and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savor. Ex. 29.18
