I think the sadness of it is that there are probably only a real few who hate us that deeply, and like all other organisations they must brainwash with hatred and lies others to surrender their lifes in the name of the cause.
Lets be honest, if Bin laden was a warrior he would pass his fortune to another and pick up a rifle. He is more interested in making trouble than sacrificing himself.
I think if we leave them alone they will just find more easy minds to influence, and these people will die under someone elses instruction for a bunch of lies and misrepresentations based on a war that was over 1000 years ago. But when they die, they will kill hundreds of others.
I think it is the duty of leaders to protect those that they lead, in this situation you cant let these things happen.

Yes I think it is a morbid fascination, that we all have for the details of these dreadful acts of carnage. Can you rmember when Princess Di was killed what did you do for the next few days. Yes listened to all the news and watched TV in morbit fascination.
However, I am not sure that is way most reacted over 9/11 or the London Bombings. Most would have been horrified and until the reality of it hit, just dumbfounded, then sick and sooo angry.
I know my own reaction to 9/11 watching from my hospital bed with (the sound down) I thought hang on I've never seen this film before. Then it dawned on me I was watching actual live footage. It was then sheer disbelief, uncontrollable sobbing and then the anger so much anger.
With the London Bombings it was pure blind rage followed by anger and tears. No disbelief but just thinking it was only a matter of time. And oh those poor people from all walks of life, from other nations and different parts of the world, killed and maimed in nano seconds. Later my guilt as I knew it was morbid fascination that kept me glued to the TV screen.
The perpetrators; well they would not be in the least bit interested if we are scared, fascinated, or angry etc., Most do not have the capacity to understand or have any idea of the way that normal people react to tragic events. They have been so indoctrinated they act like cybermen with no feelings, or brains to comprehend the awful consequences of their actions.
Killing them would only fuel their cause; but apart from killing them I do not know what the answer is. Though I do know that even thinking about these perpetradors frightens me especially in the context of what the future has in store for generations of children and decent hardworking and god fearing people...it leaves me with a feeling of despair.
But we must not let the Bastards grind us down! We are made
Thank you for sharing your thoughts we us. You only have to look at the many Q&A on the same subject to realised that people are truly concerned about what the future holds for us all.

There will always be ppl like that. I feel the psyhce (sp) of ppl wanting to see horrific scenes are the same types that go to car races and hope for a crash. It thrills them.
As to details; I was interested. I wanted to know "how" not "what" happened. What happened was easily seen, how was not so obvious.
As for killing us (USA) absolutely yes! Living in some of the richest and influencial contries on this planet, while still living in poverty without hope, must surely have an adverse affect on them.
As to your last Q; think about a school bully. What makes him modify his behavior? What REALLY makes him stop?Counseling or an a** kicking?

This "plot" was staged. Every one of the suspects will be released over the next few years without charge.
This is just to justify what is about to happen and what has happened. Also to take minds off of the terrible situation in Afghanistan.
The paras are under sustained attack not seen since Korea!!!!!!
WWIII is about to start. Mock if you wish. But this plot is not real. Our police have shot people who were completely innocent.
We are being controlled.

Sam, you're almost there. Their purpose is to kill as many of us infidels as possible using the most sensational means necessary to accomplish their goals and to instill fear and disrupt the daily normalcy. Period. The sooner we all realize that there is no compromise, no assimilation, and no hope for peaceful co-existence, the sooner we can then begin to deal with them in the only language they understand and the better off we as non-Muslims will be.

Got it all wrong my friend,The Nazis in the White house and Congress are the terrorists and the Israelis are terrorists. This is just a bit of ethnic Genocide against Muslims because they are a growing very popular religious group that both Christians and Jews alike are afraid of.Look at Holland who just booted out thousands of Muslims for fear that the Muslim population was growing faster than the Dutch population and eventually they would have more Muslims than Dutch which meant that if they got into politics they could conceivably win power and turn Holland into a Muslim country.

They know. They just don't care.
The purpose of terrorist attacks is to provoke a reaction. Their goal is to harm our way of life. And they can do that just as well whether our reactions are based out of fear or anger.
People are upset, and overreacting. Personal liberties are being stripped, governments are ignoring their own laws. And now we can't even bring toothpaste with us when we travel.
Our quality of life is being trampled on everywhere we turn, by our own governments, as a direct result of these attacks. And that's exactly what the terrorists want to achieve.

soooo, what we need to do is organise some fake footage of another group of religious fanatics causing mayhem in the name of whoever, have it broadcast every eve on BBC news and hope the current fuitcakes feel that their 'job' is being done for them... they could go back to rug munching 3 times a day....well, wishful thinking.... but yes, the psychology of all this is as you are suggesting... it's all very banal, predictable and tedious.

There purpose is to install terror, so if they found out we were just fascinated by their actions they wouldn't bother.
