We've been dating for a month. We see eachother once a wk on average. He works 2 jobs/sometimes 80 hours a week-so i know he's very buzy right now, and i respect that. He calles me almost every day. At times however it will stop & I will call him lv a message & he wont' call back for a day or so. He says its becasue he's buzy, but too buzy to make a 10 min phone call. Or he'll tell me he'll call & then he won't. I hate that & i finally told him I feel very ignored when he does it. I'm not being needy, just want a call returned once in awhile. Why do men Have such a problem making phone connections!

i understand your frustrations. but he seems to be really busy; give him some space; he'll call. if you have approahced him about this, then try not to dwell on it any more. keep yourself busy.

You don't live his life, so you shouldn't dictate to him what his life should include. If he loves you you should let him love you the way he can. Everyone has capacity to love, but it's how you show it.
You can be without him for a day. You weren't attached at the hip, and you should give him some space. You can't force someone to love you the way you want to be loved.
I had someone who flipped out on me when I didn't call them back in an hour from when the called.
I'm no longer with them.
If you love him, let him love you the way you can.
You say that he's too busy to make a 10 min. phone call - but are you really so needy that you need to get that 10. min phone call once a day every day for the rest of your life? I would be more worried if he didn't call for a week or a month.
Rather than making phone calls.. how about going to see him? That would make many people very very happy.

I personally really hate using the phone,cell and home phone included. I think that the problem is that a guy feels if he uses the phone too much to talk to a "new" girlfriend which you are to him,that you will turn him into "just a friend" status..
"just a friend " status is the worst thing that a guy wanst to hear especially if he thinks that there is something more to the relationship than "just friends".
I think that you should enjoy the times that you do have with him and make the most of it ,and don't expect too much out of a relationship that has just started ,from my calculations it has only been "4" dates.
He probably doesen't have a lot of time for dating ..number 1 reason,and yes he probably is dating other woman also..after all he hardly knows you..how could he..after only 4 dates.
Give it time and wait and see how the dating process works,and perhaps he will want to spend more time with you and maybe even "make" more time to spend with you.
By the way...yes you are acting needy..if you call too much also.
Play it cool,and if he really wants to be with you he will call you,if not ..move on and start dating other guys..don't put all your marbles in one basket .
If this guy doesen't hear from you..he will wonder what you are up to ,and viola!! you will get a call from him..I personally guarantee it..I am a guy and I know how guys think .

to be honest i have no idea but the same problem. i kept calling him n stuff n he didnt answer his phone n came up with more n more excuses. but i figured that when i keep calling it gets on his nerves n he is not interested in me nomore just bcuz all this phone calls. well just stop calling him i did the same n since then we didnt talk 4 2 weeks now. i dont care the next one comes soon

Because you are calling him, and he is either speaking to you or ignoring your calls, he is in control. Stop calling and get on with your life. You be busy some time or rather all the time and see if the scenario doesn't go better for you.

80 hours a week is a lot- like 2 jobs- so he calls you when he is able to ---He does need to sleep too--feel good that he calls you everyday and still goes out once a week....

because guys dont like to waste time talking about nothing especially over the phone. the next time you want to call him and complain about how your nails need to get done call one of your girl friends and try to limit calling him every 20 minutes becuase its hella annoying
