I have straight/slightly wavy hair and there are days where I want that "curly and wet" look. I can't seem to get any mousses to work, they just make my hair frizzy and puffy. Any suggestions?

This is an idea I've had for a while, but haven't gotten around to experimenting with my hypothosis yet. Not to mention, I'm in Texas where it's constantly 100 degrees and using an oven these days is a sign of insanity.

Joel Robuchon used to make an eggplant caviar that was very well recieved (like everything he did). In his book, L'Atelier of Joel Robuchon, he makes a Grilled Mild Mushrooms with Thyme and Eggplant Caviar. A unique preparation for the eggplant, however, is to put them on a wire rack while roasting.

By placing veg on a rack instead of directly on the sheet pan, this allows the hot air in the oven to circulate ENTIRELY around the veg. When it's directly on the sheet, steam will develop in places from the small space between the veg and the hot sheet.

SO HERE'S MY QUESTION (yeah, long intro!) - Has anyone else noticed a difference between roasting vegetables on a rack rather than scattering them about on a pan? Maybe eggplant is one of the few exceptions to this?

Hello, I am supposed to get my period today and I have no symptoms of it coming, except I have been hungry all day, but no cramps. (I have always had very bad cramping before and throughout my period.) I took a HPT today and it was negative. Is it to soon to test?

I like a lot of different books. Classics like Oliver Twist, Pretty Women, or fantasy like Harry Potter, or those reality kinda stories like Laura Ingalls, Secret Garden, Princess Diaries etc.

we have women with eating disorders all over america because of the pressure to present a certain body image.
WE have women who want an abortion because society teaches women they will live in poverty and you are to young to be having children it will ruin your life .
INSTEAD of making women respect and love the children they are able to bring into the world we have made them feel ashamed .
LETS start telling american women it is ok to get pregnant and have children and we all get behind them .
INSTEAD of telling them they are ruining there live's.
IF it where not for the religious crap jammed down the throats of these young women and the pressure to succeed at all costs woman would want the kids .
WE need to teach women that children are the greatest thing you can do for the world .RAISE them right and end the poverty america allows and everything would be fine .
ATTITUDES need to change in order for america to become the grand nation we could be. WE have the money and time , use it.

A Scotsman, American, and an Irishman are in a bar.

how can muslims expect Europeans and Indians(read Christians,Jews and Hindus) to be secular where they are minorities and totally ban other religions(implementing sharia law) and supress non-muslims in any muslims majority state?

Except a few muslims countries most don't allow other religions to be practised, while they cry foul even in the most secular countries(like in France which bans head scarf).

Muslims, what justification can you give about this?

O.k. I love cheerleading but this year we got a new coach and she is old fashioned. I was on jv and was trying out for varsity, Im bigger than all the other girls on the squad and i think she had a problem with that because she put me back on jv and put girls with lower skill levels than me on varsity.I also remember when she found out i made jv last year she made weird comments about it.
I think it was pure discrimination.
