I am divorced and my 12 year old son has 1 month of summer vacation to spend with his dad. I have joint custody with principal residence. I have asked my son's dad what plans he has for our son when he goes to work and he tells me it is none of my business. Today is the first day he is with his dad for the entire month of August. He leaves for work around 6 am and returns around 6:30 or 7 pm. I think that is unacceptable. He lives in a rural farming community and the child is alone all day. There is no land line for a telephone. I have given my son a cell phone to call in case of an emergency. He has called me over a dozen times today and text messages me constantly that he misses me and is bored etc. The relationship between his father and myself is horrible. Short of calling social services or the police I don't know what else to do. I have tried numerous times to speak to him about this. It will start WWIII if I drive out to pick him up. Suggestions please.

Its abut 6 ft deep, and there are shallow parts that could completely freeze during a hard ice storm. any attracitive fish you could think of that would survive a harsh winter. how about if i break up the ice as often as it freezes?

I get up two and three times a night to pee. I don't have to pee a lot during the day. Maybe every 4-6 hours. I tried not drinking anything 2 hours before bed, but sometimes this doesn't help. I don't get why I need to get up more than once during the night to pee. If I haven't drank anything for hours, wouldn't it all come out the first time?

What are the steps to take a downloaded movie that is saved on my hard drive to burn it so i can play it on my dvd player with my T.V.

Just pondering, Does anyone really know what that meat contains? I think that McDonald's "hamburger" meat is a little bit more than just ground beef. I myself can't even eat there anymore, I was grossed out when I bit into a hamburger from there one time and a little piece hurt my tooth, hamburger meat shouldn't hurt a tooth, I mean this was like a little piece of bone or something. YUCK.

I caught part of the movie 'Secondhand Lions' on cable this past weekend. This movies stars Haley Joel Osment and Michael Caine. Don't know what the movie was about, but that's not important here.

The movie features a upbeat song from, I'm guessing the 50's. It is sung by a woman. Not sue of the lyrics, but it may have a 'whop-dee' something, something in the chorus. It's a very catchy, borderline silly pop song. I've heard it a long time back, but cannot for the life of me, find this song. And I did check the soundtrack, but it appears to be all instrumental.

I realize I haven't provided much to work with, but if someone can help me with this, that would be great! Thanks!

I have a color photo of my son, which I'd like converted to a black and white photo BUT I'd like his eyes to remain blue in the photo. I know how to convert it to black and white, but I don't have the software to keep his eyes blue.

My parents dated for 7 years but broke up soon after my mother got pregnant. The day I was born my grandfather on my mothers side called my fathers mother but she slammed the phone down saying I was not her sons child. A few months later a paturnity test was done and I proved to be his daughter so he agreed to pay child support. I did not see him or hear from him at all until I was 14. He came over my house drunk telling me that his mother wanted to have dinner with me. I told him I would go if someone else would take me-I would not get in the car with a drunk driver but this angered him. He left and never came back. I found out through the internet that he has passed on. I tried to contact the family to get a picture so I know what he looks like but they never respond. I found another one of his children (family has nothing to do with him either) and they put up a myspace page trying to help kids who have deadbeat fathers. I signed on. Now I fear his family will find out.
