Okay..first let me say I was raised in a church that does not believe in speaking in tounges, they teach that it was done away with in 1 Cor 13:8. I have come to understand that this verse also say's: where there are tounges they shall cease, where there is KNOWLEDGE it will pass away.

I've studied this chapter out very carefully and I don't believe "knowledge" will be done away with also as tounges. I've looked up every word in the greek. It would seem to me that this verse has been taken out of context.

I can't seem to find one single scripture that say's tounges, miracles, interpretation of tounges, healing etc..were to cease at some point. I always thought there was some verse that was very clear it would...I'm eating crow!

Show me where these gifts were to end. Please I don't want to hear long winded reasons...just the bible verses

Okay... so now tell me everything you know... even if it is a really stupid like, they take you picture, or whatever.

Okay so here is my real question... How do you get a comp card? Do you go to a profession photographer and then send your pictures to a comp card making company? Do you need a comp card and a portfolio? Is your portfolio just pictures you got done at a pro. photographer? My mom will take me to a pro. photo place where my brother and sister got their senior pics done. Can some photographers put together a comp card so you know exactly how it will turn out? What should you wear? Should a do a bathing suit picture if i'm 15? I'll do bathing suit shots, but will it look sl*ty? How should you do your hair, makeup, etc.?

So basically do you know the process of getting a comp card and/or portfilio made and/or how you should look in it?

I was diagonsed with asthma about two years ago, I am presently on advair and albuterol inhaliers. I have been a smoker for about 34 years and had cronic broncitis for 20 years. I bring up yellow phlem constantly and have trouble breathing so I find myself using the albuterol 3 or 4 times a week. I have told my doctor about all these symptoms but he just increases my dosages. Isn't there a test to tell wether this is truly asthma, and not copd or emphysema. I feel my doctor is wrong.

my ex boyfriend bought me some 20'' rims for my car. during this time he lived with me for free because i own my house, but i payed all utilities and we split grocery bills. one day he just up and moves back home with mommy and said that he needed a "break". he said we said we would stay friends but i honestly hate him for walking out on me like that . he has only called a maybe 4 times since he left 2 weeks ago and 2 of them were to see if i would re-pay him for the rims he bought me because he lost his job. but i feel like i don't owe him sh!t, after all he was living with me for free. do you think i should repay him? if i don't repay him, i know i will loose any chance of friendship there is left?

In the last 1 1/2 months, I have been dealing with a runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes- seems like 24/7. I hear bee pollen works well. I am a lifelong allergy/asthma sufferer who has probably taken almost every drug out on the market today (otc and prescription), not to mention allergy shots too. Prior to the start of the summer, I was fine. Actually, the only thing I was taking was Advair. I haven't had allergy shots for 2 years; it seemed like I was doing well without them. I think that I have built up an immunity to many drugs, such as Benadryl. Any suggestions to a new route I might take? I am also reconsidering going back to allergy shots.
