In the last 1 1/2 months, I have been dealing with a runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes- seems like 24/7. I hear bee pollen works well. I am a lifelong allergy/asthma sufferer who has probably taken almost every drug out on the market today (otc and prescription), not to mention allergy shots too. Prior to the start of the summer, I was fine. Actually, the only thing I was taking was Advair. I haven't had allergy shots for 2 years; it seemed like I was doing well without them. I think that I have built up an immunity to many drugs, such as Benadryl. Any suggestions to a new route I might take? I am also reconsidering going back to allergy shots.

Chlor-Trimeton. You can also get the generic ...Chlorpheneramine Maleate. (it costs less). Hope it helps you.

I have the same problem and I visited the doctor yesterday. I am on a cheaper brand name version of Advair called Qvar. The doc had also recommended that I invest in the OTC drug Claritin-D. It's good for drying out the sinuses and it's non-drowsy.

I used to have severe allergy problems. I would hack up a ton of mucus every morning, and blow my nose all day long. Those were my good days. :-) A year ago a friend of ours told us about a natural product called Reliv that has made my allergy problems a thing of the past. Send me an email and I will tell you more.

Take care and God bless,
Michael

Allergies sometimes indicate that there is an imbalance within the body. Most commonly, the imbalance is an overgrowth of Candida yeast fungi. By addressing the overgrowth, the body has the opportunity to rebalance and often times the symptoms just disappear.

OTC meds do not help me. I have to take a prescription for allergies (Allegra). When I lived in the north, I had to have shots. I live in the south now and don't have to because there is different vegitation here.

It sounds as if you are really suffering. Allergy shots will usually work, although you do have to get them regularly. Claritin is most recommended OTC. Good luck.

Go to your doctor so he can prescribe for you some anti-histimines. I take one everyday to prevent me from such allergies related to dust etc. You also need regular preventive asthma treatment also. You can see both the chest doctor and Asthma management officer who will help you manage your asthma too.

Probably best if you asked an allergist or a PA/Nurse Practitioner. I'm on a combo of meds, which may or may not work for you. Different people respond differently, so you need something that works for YOU.

Try a product called Himalayan Goji Juice. It works wonders, it is all natural and I have been using this for over a year. It is awesome.
