Absolutely! His plays use timeless themes, which is why they are still popular.
For example: Romeo and Juliet is about how far young lovers will go if they lose the one they love. It also shows how love is blind when it comes to things like family loyalty. A modern example might be if two employees who work for competing companies fall in love, and how they would prevent their bosses from discovering their romance for fear of losing their jobs.
Shakespeare is also hilarious. Try watching a well-done production of one of his comedies without laughing!

Yes. Shakespeare is releveant for two reasons. His plays stand the test of time, in his ability to put people in intersting locations and make us care about them.

His use of language makes reading and understanding him like learning a new language, but also allows for total immersion into a character or a period of history.

I believe so, & the reason is because some of the "morals" of his stories include facets of human nature that will always be around. Take Othelo for example, the lessons to be learned in it, such as, jealousy's possible and though not often as extream but still negative effects are still relevent. Also, there are still individuals that are as coniving and manipulative as Iago in today's society.
