because they do not ingest enough HIV particles to begin with, because the proboscis ("needle like nose") is not a needle, because HIV is digested in the gut and mosquitoes inject saliva into you, not blood and HIV does not survive, let alone reproduce or migrate to other parts of the mosquito body. Scientists have studied it. YOU just have to do the research instead of asking a bunch of random people on the Internet who have no idea. I suggest you ask your Doctor, or at the very least check out www.thebody.com . Take Care and stay safe!

There is no evidence to show that mosquitoes transmit HIV.
HIV does not survive or replicate inside the intestine of the mosquito, which is a reason to believe that mosquitoes cannot spread the HIV infection.

When u say needle, I'm taking it that u mean the long "needle-like" nose the insert into you so they can draw the blood. If that is what u meant - I think it is a great question. Maybe the substance they inject you w/first has some sort of altering effect. If so, that should be studied by scientists.

Bloodborne diseases that can be transmitted by mosquitoes are that way because the agent that causes them can live in the mosquito's saliva and body. HIV can't.

They transmit a bunch of other diseases in this way though.
