Please, no potty humour, though, nor any racist or outright pornographic jokes. I do realise this limits the field, but there must be plenty of bad jokes that don't rely on sheer shock for effect. Punnish jokes are (just barely) acceptable, as are otherwise bawdy jokes. :)

They also say we are overweight because we eat fast food, last time I checked Simon Cowell had man boobs. Maybe it would be better to say the U.S. isn't as vain as Europe. Their men over there wear tight jeans, and tight shirts, which sounds like our women. Here in the states we call that metrosexual because we know that men are supposed to act like men. They give us crap about our medical system because we don't have a socialized medicare system. If you ask me I would rather have private medical insurance because I don't like waiting 2 months if I need an MRI, and I don't like waiting in line for 3 hours to get my perscriptions filled. So keeping on wearing those Prada shoes and complaining when they get ruined because you stepped in dog crap, and we will keep on being "arrogant." But then again noone asked me so maybe I am just rambling.

I am the youngest brother and I have 3 sisters from a traditional indian family. A few months back I graduated and my mum brought me a card and an expensive briefcase. The year before it was my sisters graduation and we got her nothing. She insisted we go out for a celebration and after the meal I suggested that she pay as kept saying she would. She said she didn't have her card so my parents paid. A few years back it was her birthday and we got her a card but no present. My mum handed her a bag of loose nuts. a few weeks later it was my birthday and my mum gave me some presents. My mum has always said I will get the property that she owns. that is 3 houses worth in total over half a million. However I am the youngest and it was my sisters who helped my mum pay for the mortagages...they turned over quite a bit of their salaries. My folks gave my two older sisters 'ok' weddings and for my other unmarried sister my mum is encouraging her to make it small.

I have lived in this house for three years now and everytime something needs fixed, I tell the landlord. That is what I am supposed to do, right. Anyway the landlords response each time is, "It's not my problem, I don't have to live there." The one time he did buy something to fix the house, he charged me for the parts and labor. I now have two holes in my floor, A back room that is about ready to fall in and is molded, and the entire house needs rewired; the lights dim about 2-3 times per hour. I replaced the hood over the stove because it caught on fire and when i told him about it he said i should have let it burn so he could get the insurance money. I need help, do I have to legally pay rent if he refuses to fix things?

I put the emphasis on the word WORD because despite the disassociated view of many in the west islam was spread by word rather than the sword.
In the Holy Quran it states; "Let there be no compulsion in religion." But the fact that ISLAM is the fastest growing religion proves that it is spread by the word.
However compared to christianity ISLAM has a good track record when it comes to religious tolerence. When Spain was reconquered by the christians from Muslim hands, the jews took sanctuary in Islamic lands. In contrast, after the fall of the crusader states in PALESTINE, SYRIA etc some christians remained behind and were treated with the utmost respect and kindness.

My friends say i am whipped, a fag, a loser, for the way i treat my girlfriend and i get offended because i do what i think is right, allow me to expand. I am 100% loyal, I do romantic things, i cook for her because i love cooking, i always tell her i love her, on the days when i am too busy to call or see her i still find time to atleast swing by for 5 minutes and hug her and tell her i love her, or i'll text her a sweet little message, just so she knows she is #1 in my life and that i always think about her. I pay for everything when we go out because that is what it should be. I don't take advantege of her, we laugh, we never fight, we disagree sometimes, but never fight about it. I still love her and it has been over 2 years now. So my question is, what is expected of me as a boyfriend in today's standards? What am i doing that makes me Whipped? I do these things of my own accord. I'm a good looking guy too, so i could be a slut if i wanted, i just dont want to be. Thanks
