I was playing my james bond the world is not enough, and the names of the weapons are so unreailistic like they call an AK-47 a KA-57. I mean why dont they call it what it really is I mean do they know nothing about guns.

maybe they think if its to realistic people will get way to in to it and think they can go kill people in real life
other then that i have no clue and i don't really know much about guns so i cant help u there
but if the game is fun don't worry about how realistic it is

Well, in some games it is about licensing. It could also be that they didn't use AK-47 in the movies, but they did use KA-57.
Game designers know plenty about guns and weapons. Even if they didn't, they would have the internet. Believe me, they know how to use the internet.
Video games are games. They are not life or reality. There are games based on life and reality, and those will be more historically correct. Maybe you should stick to WWII simulations and combat simulations if you want the actual weapons.

maybe because they created a new weapon that is better but very similar. or maybe there really is a KA-57 and you didn't know about it or something.
