how do i know if my little black molly is male or female?

i have only a single fish, so i cant compare it with a partner. dont ask me to take it to the shop. also tell me a site where i can know how to maintain a fish tank.

male mollies generally have a larger dorsal fin, also their anal fin is like a little stick, where the females is faned out

This is a pretty odd question. I'm not sure. But I can tell you how to take care of them. First, some stores have special food for mollies, but they can be fed the same thing as other fish. You need to clean the water about once a month. This depends on the size of your tank and if you get more. If you have just a bowl, you still should put gravel in it. Adding a few plants or stacked river rocks are good if they want to hide.

you have a goldfish a black molly and a bala shark all in one tank? Black mollys tend to be aggressive and might attack your gold fish....the sharks are AWSOME fish we have two they grow to the size of the tank!
i don't know a link on how to maintain a fish tank. You just clean it once every few weeks and add the salt and other chemical needed for your size of tank...

we clean our tank once a month it is a 50gallon tank each time we clean it we put those chemicals in it....

Male Black Mollies have long upper fins and the female have short ones.I don't know about the others.
