My girl and I were standing in line to buy movie tickets the other night, and in front of us were these black men and women in their late teens and early twenty's talking to each other, and referring to each other as ni**er, as if that was their name.

This is my question.
Why is it acceptable for black people to speak to other black people that way?

I am hugely offended when I here white people use that word when referring to black people. There appears to be a double standard. Can someone please explain this to me?

I'm a christian girl (from India) and i'm going out with a Hindu guy for the past 3 years. My parents new about this but now they don't even know that this relationship exists. they never liked and even threatened me to stay out of it. I can't and won't because I really love this person. How can I convince my parents that this guy is the right guy for me? When should I let them know about this? My parents are quite conservative and I'm sure they won't handle the situation in a calm way. Moreover i am not willing to elope with my boyfriend coz I love my parents just as much as I do to my boyfriend. What should I do?

It is called 'The Wrong Man' about an innocent black man who was haulted into jail and ended up extracated into Atlanta because his name was the alias of a known fugitive. What really got me angery was the apathy the law had to him because they really didn't do anything to make up for what they did to him.

I have read the Mists of Avalon, and I absolutely loved it, and I LOVE T.A. Barron but I'm at that age where some young adult books seem to easy, while some adult books seem too hard, or just plan slow in my oppion. I'm looking for an adult fantasy book to read, but I want it to be fast pace, or at least a great page turner. So if anyone has any suggestion I would be greatful to have them!
