I ran iptables -L and did not see any rules set up. Am I missing something here? I run a web server with php, mysql and samba. I am new with Linux firewalls so I don't know if these are protected some other way with Ubuntu. I just installed firestarter which is easliy installed from the package manager but do I now have a double firewall some how?

I finished my University course a year ago and started straight away in full time work after a weeks holiday in France.
