I was considering one as well but went with the honda crv- i could get more bang for my buck. sunroof and disc changer are standard options on the honda and would cost extra on a rav4. They are nice though

Chevy's and Saturns are built in Mexico. That doesn't do squat for the US economy. And toyotas are far easier to work on than anything American...and as a bonus, you rarely have to worry about that. The resale on the domestic SUV's is horrible. You will never owe less than what the vehicle is worth....never.

The new Rav is fantastic, and the V6 is crazy fast. You also get standard Electronic Stability Control.

Check www.edmunds.com for plenty of reviews. One of the bloggers asks, "should everyone else just give up?"

have you ever pushed it, taken it to a mechanic? you do not aspect out what 3 hundred and sixty 5 days or how a lot.. I had a 1999 Rav 4, it continues to be on the line in the present day without significant upkeep finished ever. fantastic little Toyota, good mileage, roomy sufficient. the in straight forward words unfavourable aspect is as they become older they look to lose a number of their responsiveness. You are much better off buying a Saturn Vue or Chevrolet Equinox, because it will be much easier to work if it has any problems after the warranty runs out, plus you will be helping the USA economy.

If you asked me a year ago, I would have recommended a Honda CR-V. Toyota has improved the RAV4 this year, and I feel they've done a good job. Go for it.

Consumer Rating of 9.4 is pretty good. Check the link below for which model you plan on buying:

Well my first car was the old model Rav4, 3door and purple. It was the most reliable car my dad said he'd ever seen and I had so much fun in it.

So if that was the old model, I can only imagine they are even better now.

I think you need to wait if Honda CR-V has arrive this fall and you will see if this CR-V is better than new RAV4. You need the compare with RAV4 and CR-V. Then you can chose one of them after you need time to think.
