to those who have already commented and said that the avatars are not all white, the are wrong.. the avatars are all white because the basic make and facial structure of the avatars are of a white man or woman. None of the avatars have the bone structure, head shape. Just because they give you the option of tan does not mean that you change the race or culture of the avatar

all of you with negative comments shows how ignorant the world is about culture and race. the bone structure and the shapes of the faces are all the same making all the avatars resemble white people. And just because you put a tan color on a white face doen't make it black. and for those who commented about my avatar, my avatar only looks like that because i spent an extreme amount of time trying to make her that way and the only reason why she looks black is because of her hair, which is not a normal option for an avatar, I was lucky to fine that hair during the halloween season, where it was consider a costum wig piece and not someone's actual hair. it is a shame so many people answer with stupid, racist and rude answers. And did everybody forget about the all races in the world, we are all not just black or white. What about the japanese, chinese, korean, hispanic, mideastern, etc. Does the avatar represent them?

It is easier to see the color white on paper than it is to see darker colors. It shows off the other colors in the spectrum. A african american color scheme would not show well on the computer screen.

they really arent representing a whole lot of ethnicity or culture at all. There wasn't anything remotely near my face shape or anything like that on there, either. And im definitely a bit curvier around the edges!

It depends on the personality you put into your avatar. It has whatever culture you give it. What exactly is being "white" or "black"?

There are shades next to the pics to change skin tone, eye color, etc....

You can be as multi-cultural/ethnic as you would like to be! :)
