True or false: Since 0.48 x 0.51 = 0.24, about 24% voted for the Republican (George W. Bush) in both elections.
If true, explain why. If false, explain the flaw in logic.

I have had on-going problems with my mother in law since day 1. We hate each other and do not get along at all. I was just wondering if I should send her a birthday card... The deal is, I have been with my husband a total of 5 years (married for 3 1/2). I have always gotten her a card for her birthdays and anniversaries and other occassions just to be 'the bigger person' even when we weren't getting along (which was NEVER!). If it was up to my husband, he wouldn't get her one so I always did. She sent me a birthday card last year for the first time! And that was only because my husband was at their house around the time. We don't speak at all.. She talks about me all the time to her family and freinds. Even her 12 year old daughter! She has even stopped giving my husband anything (but a card) for his birthday but still gets her other grown kids things. I am sick of being the 'better person' in this deal? Should I skip out on her cards from now on? Would it be wrong?

When this man was holding me down and about to rape me he was rubbing my breasts as if they were fully developed. I was just beginning to go thru puberty and I was only partially showing any growth. After that I hated my breasts and had this fixation that I never wanted to grow up or develop more. It seemed like mature breasts meant you were rape material since he grabbed mine like i was fully developed.( The thought of growing up always sent me into depression.) I secretly felt that and then I went thru this deeply promiscuous time. What the h*** is that all about ? Also, today my regular Dr told me she wants me to see a female psych Dr. for a " pre-emptive PTSD " counsultation. I told her a tiny bit of my feelings and she was alarmed. I told her I didnt think anyone could talk me out of this hole...Should I go and talk or go and just get meds ? Plz pray for me in this decision.

My sister met this guy that's 6 years younger than her, after they met, they were seeing each other for about two weeks, then they are "friends with benefits" , she really liked him but didn't think it can be a long term relationship cause he's so much younger, they have a lot of differences, but she's sort of obssessed with him. I don't know what the guy was thinking but he and my sis see each other about once a month, and inbetween, both of them see other people as well....

This guy came from a broken family, he sends my sis those messages like he's really sad, and the family f***ed him over... which kind of make my sister feel sorry for him, care about him and want to be there for him, but then he doesn't want to have a serious relationship with her.

I tried to tell my sister stop seeing this guy and don't waste her time, but she says she doesn't mind, cause she doesn't have any one she really love at the moment and feel that she wants to "warm his heart" ....what do u think?

i have sole custody of my daughter and will always be her daddy. i cant help but notice she looks nothing like me. i was tdy in in the air force right about the timeframe of my ex's conception period. my daughter looks very similar to one of the nieghbors/friend taht lived and hung out with us. i look at old pics and it just drives me mad to fill that unknowing. I will always be her daddy but if it comes back neg should i just keep it hush or confront the ex? i am just confused and think knowing would calm me. what do think?

My partner of 11 years just confessed he had sex with a prostitute last wednesday. As if that wasn't enough, he acknowledged he has been addicted to internet porn and masturbated several times a day. I am devastated, we had the best relationship, we are great friends, we really love each other, he has promised he is going to go to therapy and a 12 step program (he attended a meeting last sunday). I understand he is in pain, I know it's a sickness and I want to support him, but what do I do with my feelings of pain and humiliation and betrayal, how do I become a better person and put my feelings aside? Right now I am devastated I wish I could die.
