I'm just guessing here but I don't think they're jealous I think they think you're crazy.

Don't hate them... they're just jealous or don't understand the abilities some people have to communicate with animals. I'm rather jealous you're in a place with reindeer! :-)

Jealosy is triggered by a deep seeded insecurity (thats what I think) so maybe your friends cant be happy for you because they a more saddened or very unhappy with the fact that they dont have a special talent as well.

Your friends need to have a much more open mind and learn to believe what seems unbelievable. Real friends will ask questions to seek more clarification about doubts that they have about your claims and try to understand and accept your claims.
