I am a preschool teacher (4-5 yr old Pre-K class) and I have a particularly difficult group right now. There are several rowdy boys (6-7 in a class of 18) and they set the tone for the class. I am not able to use "peer pressure" or positive reinforcement methods with them because they do not respond. They don't care if I say "Sara is sitting nicely." It doesn't make them want to do it. I can't sit there and wait for them to be quiet, because they never will. They will just keep playing and running around the room. They hit each other, make messes and refuse to clean them up, use potty language in the classroom, run away from me, the list goes on and on. I am a teacher with 14 years' experience and have never had a group that didn't respond to ANY of the recommended discipline and guidance techniques. It's very frustrating- I feel like I'm not teaching anything because I'm spending most of my time redirecting the class. Any hints or suggestions before I lose my mind?

I have a Rotti Lab Cross. He is 4 years old and 127 pounds. His duclaws grew out of control and eventually circled around and dug back into his foot. Got the duclaws cut today and it turns out that where the duclaws had dug in there was puss. The person who cut his duclaws said that he has an infection there now. Took him straight to the vet and the vet said he would have to knock Hercules (my dog) out, shave, clean and maybe cut and stitch and a whole bunch of other stuff. At the end of the examination Hercules got an antibiotics shot and we were told to make an appointment with the vet.

My dog-saavy friend actually said that it shouldn't be necessary to do all that and told me to give him 1 mg per pound of benadryl. up to 3 times a day and soak his feet in betadine and warm water 3 times/day. I just want to confirm whether or not this is a possible solution, see if there is an even better solution or if I will in fact have take him to the vet and have him sedated. Thanks so much

her name is becky and we talk a lot on phone although she is not virgin but she love boys a lot and going party and drunk and having sex with different boys. her life was hard and she dont have place to go and she live in foster care house. my girlfriend live with her ex fiance and fiance ex bf brother. becky hate school and have nothing to do on her life but i promise her to take care of her and try to abuse him by drugs and she like to cut her self with scissor and we have been together for the last 5 months and we live in different town.

am i dumb to stay up with her or am i just being played again and make me to believe wat she said to me that she love me and she was not.

Nothing I do or say gets thru to him. about a month ago he was great but I recently found porn on his computer. the concensus then was to remove the computer which I did.

Now he's angry all the time and has become rude. Walking into rooms without knocking. And won't respect my privacy. He's gone into my room while I'm at work and uses my computer now. he's been in my bedside nightstand and looking thru my most private and "intimate devices" Then mentions it in the heat of any argument. He used to clean the house. Now I find that he has dumps my dirty clothes in a pile. He even tore my stockings for whatever reason. I've yelled and grounded him. None of this works. He's 12 years old. is that too old to strike him? I've about had it with him. Cause I really think he needs an old fashion beating!!!
