My husband and I have been married a little over 2 yrs. We have a son together. He has been deployed for 9mo now and before he had left we were having some problems in our marriage. Since he has been gone, I have checked his buddylist and he's been talking to other females, I know its only talking but they call him baby and ask when hes going to call again and so on and so forth. I love my husband, yet I am no longer in love with him. Everytime something comes up about divorce he makes me promise I would never leave him. He's kind of insecure and we are each others first love, I am scared that if I leave I am making a bad choice however if I stay I don't know if thats the best answer either. He should be home in a few months and I want to try to rekindle our love for one another but I feel like we are more friends than anything. He knows I have been unhappy for a little over a year and we have stopped being the people we were when we were first together & Iraq has changed him BIG time

I am going in to the dentisit for a scaling and rooting gum procedure which is cleaning between the gums and the teeth at the gumline. If anyone has had this done, I was wondering what the recovery is like. Is it just an irritating pain, what should I expect?

I'm an American of English, Scottish, French, and Irish descent. I just don't understand the prejudice against the Irish. I had a Scottish gf who had this incredible hatred for the Irish, and when I told her I had a great-great-great Irish grandmother, it was all over. The Irish are certainly brave people who were able to survive centuries of persecution by English kings and queens, and they had enough guts to win their freedom from the British Empire..........which is more than I can say for the Scots, who languish under English domination even to this day.

have you actually read the Tashkent MSS for yourself in this passage and how do you explain this textual variation.


The text of the Koran in 37:103 reads "they had both submitted their wills (became Muslims)" while the Arabic text of the Tashkent MSS gives the exact opposite meaning, "they did not submitted their wills" (they did NOT become Muslims.)


Before you deny the Tashkent text..its the oldest complete Koran they have to date, and it is in the British Museum.

I'm good with animals and enjoy nature, but I can't usually get deep or profound enjoyment from it that my certain members of my family and friends seem to. I'm pretty much left out. How does one 'get into' something? Is it a huge, stunning revalation, or do you just have to genuinely love flora and fauna (or all life, for that matter)?
